3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
This vacuum cleaner is designed for use with Makita 18V batteries (e.g., BL1860, BL1850, BL1840, BL1830, BL1815). Battery is NOT included.

- Ensure the Makita 18V battery is fully charged.
- Align the battery with the battery slot on the main vacuum unit's handle.

3.2 Assembly of Attachments
The 7-in-1 convertible design allows for various configurations:

- For Stick Vacuum Mode: Connect the Extension Tube to the main vacuum unit. Then, attach the Motorized Floor Brush to the other end of the Extension Tube.
- For Handheld Mode: Directly attach the Crevice Tool, 2-in-1 Brush Tool, or Flexible Hose to the main vacuum unit.
- For Extended Reach Handheld Mode: Attach the Flexible Hose to the main vacuum unit, then connect the desired tool (Crevice Tool or 2-in-1 Brush Tool) to the end of the hose.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off and Suction Modes
The vacuum features a smart LED touchscreen for easy control.

- Press the Power button on the LED touchscreen to turn the vacuum on.
- Use the Mode button on the touchscreen to cycle through the three adjustable suction modes (15KPA, 25KPA, 35KPA).
- The LED display will show the current suction mode and remaining battery level.
- Press the Power button again to turn the vacuum off.
4.2 Using the Motorized Floor Brush
The motorized floor brush is equipped with LED headlights and a flexible swivel design.

- Attach the motorized floor brush to the extension tube for floor cleaning.

4.3 Using Other Attachments

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
5.1 Emptying the Dustbin

- Ensure the vacuum is turned off and the battery is removed.
- Hold the main unit over a trash bin.
- Press the one-click release button on the dustbin to open the bottom flap and empty the contents.
- Close the flap securely after emptying.
5.2 Cleaning the HEPA Filter
The multi-cyclonic filtration system includes a high-efficiency HEPA filter.

- Twist and pull the dustbin assembly from the main unit.
- Remove the HEPA filter from the dustbin.
- Tap the filter gently to remove loose dust. For a deeper clean, rinse the filter under cold running water.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
- Reassemble the filter into the dustbin and attach the dustbin back to the main unit.
5.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll
The anti-tangle V-roller brush should be checked regularly for hair and debris.

- Ensure the vacuum is off and the battery is removed.
- Detach the motorized floor brush from the extension tube.
- Locate the release tab on the side of the brush head and open it to remove the brush roll.
- Remove any tangled hair or debris from the brush roll and the brush head cavity.
- Reinsert the clean brush roll and close the release tab securely.
6. Troubleshooting
