2. Safety Information

Please observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the product.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded. Do not use extension cords. Disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.
  • Water Connection: Use only the provided water supply hose. Do not overtighten connections. Check for leaks after installation.

Follow these steps for a quick and easy installation. No specialized plumbing skills are required.

5.1. Toilet Compatibility Check

Ensure your toilet is compatible with the Lxlu bidet seat. This model is designed for elongated toilets. Please measure your toilet before proceeding.

  • Distance from bolt holes to front rim: 18-20 inches (45.7-50.8 cm) for elongated.
  • Distance between bolt holes: 6-7 inches (15.2-17.8 cm).
  • Ensure sufficient space behind the toilet for the bidet unit (approx. 4.1 inches / 10.4 cm height).

5.2. Installation Steps

  1. Remove Old Toilet Seat: Close the water supply valve to the toilet. Flush the toilet to empty the tank. Disconnect the existing water supply hose from the toilet tank. Remove the old toilet seat by unscrewing the mounting bolts.
  2. Install Fixing Plate: Place the installation template (fixing plate) onto the ceramic toilet bowl, aligning the holes with the toilet's mounting holes.
  3. Assemble Accessories: Insert the expansion nuts into the toilet's mounting holes. Place the adjustment plastic seat and then the fixing plate over the expansion nuts. Secure with connecting bolts.
  4. Attach Bidet Seat: Slide the bidet toilet seat onto the fixing plate until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  5. Install Tee Connector: Install the provided tee connector to the toilet's water supply valve.
  6. Connect Water Inlet Hose: Connect one end of the water inlet hose to the tee connector and the other end to the bidet seat's water inlet.
  7. Open Angle Valve: Slowly open the angle valve to restore water supply. Check all connections for leaks.
  8. Test Nozzle: Hold the sensing area of the seat ring with your right hand and turn the knob with your left hand to check whether the spray pipe extends.
  9. Connect Power: Plug the bidet seat into a grounded electrical outlet.

6. Operation

6.1. Wireless Remote Control

The waterproof wireless remote offers comprehensive control and can be wall-mounted or handheld.

  • AUTO Button: Initiates a standard wash and dry cycle.
  • Rear/Female Wash: Activates the respective wash function. Press again to adjust nozzle position.
  • Warm Air Control: Activates the warm air dryer. Press multiple times to adjust temperature.
  • STOP Button: Stops any active function.
  • Water Pressure (+/-): Adjusts water spray intensity (3 levels).
  • Nozzle Position: Adjusts the nozzle's forward/backward position (3 positions).

8. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your bidet seat.

8.1. General Cleaning

  • Disconnect Power: Always unplug the bidet seat from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive pads, as these can damage the finish.
  • Nozzle: The nozzle has a self-cleaning function. For additional cleaning, you can manually extend the nozzle (refer to the remote control section) and gently wipe it with a soft brush or cloth.
  • Seat: Clean the seat and lid with a soft cloth and mild soap solution.

8.2. Long-Term Storage (If Applicable)

If the bidet seat will not be used for an extended period, especially in cold climates, it is recommended to:

  • Disconnect power.
  • Close the water supply valve.
  • Drain any remaining water from the bidet unit to prevent freezing damage. Consult a plumber if unsure.
