Note: This mounting kit does NOT include bird feeders or birdhouses. Please ensure you have your desired bird feeder or birdhouse ready for attachment.

The iBorn Bird Feeder Pole system is engineered for durability and adaptability, featuring a robust design and multiple mounting options.

3. Assembly and Installation

Follow these steps for proper assembly and secure installation of your iBorn Bird Feeder Pole.

1. Assemble Pole Sections: Connect the five pole sections by screwing them together. Ensure each section is tightly screwed to prevent wobbling and maintain structural integrity.

2. Attach 5-Prong Stabilizer: Securely attach the 5-prong pole stabilizer to the bottom pole section.
3. Install Squirrel Baffle: Slide the 19.5-inch squirrel baffle onto the pole. It is recommended to install the baffle at a height of 5-6 feet from the ground to maximize its effectiveness against squirrels.
4. Attach Mounting Brackets:
   • Top Dual-Mount Bracket: Attach this bracket to the top section of the pole. This bracket is ideal for smart bird feeders with cameras and can accommodate a solar panel for continuous power.

5. Ground Installation: Choose a suitable location in your yard. Insert the 5-prong stabilizer firmly into the ground. Ensure the pole is vertical and stable before attaching any feeders or birdhouses.

4. Operating Instructions

Once assembled and installed, your iBorn Bird Feeder Pole is ready for use. The primary function of this product is to securely hold bird feeders and birdhouses while protecting them from squirrels.

• Feeder/Birdhouse Attachment: Use the provided adjustable brackets to attach your bird feeder or birdhouse. The multi-directional grooves on the mounting plate allow for easy alignment and secure fastening. Tighten screws firmly to prevent movement.
• Squirrel Deterrence: The 19.5-inch oversized baffle is designed to create an impassable barrier for squirrels. Its smooth, wobbling surface makes it difficult for squirrels to maintain balance and climb past it.

Issue: Pole is wobbly or not straight.

Issue: Squirrels are still reaching the feeder.

Ensure there are no nearby objects (trees, fences, structures) that squirrels can use to bypass the baffle by jumping onto the feeder. The baffle should be clean and free of debris that might provide traction.

Issue: Mounting bracket feels loose.

Solution: Tighten all screws on the mounting brackets. Ensure the feeder or birdhouse is properly aligned with the grooves on the mounting plate before tightening.
