1. Safety Precautions

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

Helicopter Battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the helicopter.
  2. Insert the 7.4V Lithium Battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Connect the battery cable to the helicopter's power port.
  4. Secure the battery compartment cover.

Remote Control Batteries:

  1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert the required batteries (typically AA, not specified in product data, assume standard) according to the polarity indicators.
  3. Close the battery cover securely.

4.2. Charging the Helicopter Battery

  1. Connect the USB charger to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  2. Connect the helicopter battery to the USB charger.
  3. The charging indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (refer to charger's specific light indications).
  4. Charging time is approximately 70 minutes. Do not leave charging batteries unattended.

4.3. Binding the Remote Control

The remote control and helicopter must be bound before first use or if connection is lost.

  1. Ensure both the helicopter and remote control are powered off.
  2. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
  3. Power on the helicopter. The indicator light will flash.
  4. Power on the remote control.
  5. Move the throttle stick (left joystick) to the highest position, then immediately pull it down to the lowest position.
  6. The helicopter's indicator light will become solid, indicating successful binding.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Pre-Flight Checklist

  • Ensure batteries in both helicopter and remote are fully charged.
  • Verify all propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
  • Check that the flight area is clear of obstacles, people, and animals.
  • Confirm the remote control is bound to the helicopter.

5.2. Take-off

  1. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
  2. Slowly push the throttle stick (left joystick) upwards. The main rotors will begin to spin.
  3. Continue to gently increase throttle until the helicopter lifts off the ground.
  4. For one-key take-off, press the designated 'Take Off' button on the remote control (refer to Figure 3.4).

5.3. Basic Flight Controls

  • Left Joystick (Throttle/Rudder):
    • Up/Down: Controls altitude (throttle).
    • Left/Right: Controls yaw (rotates the helicopter left or right).
  • Right Joystick (Elevator/Aileron):
    • Up/Down: Controls pitch (moves the helicopter forward or backward).
    • Left/Right: Controls roll (moves the helicopter left or right sideways).

5.4. Altitude Hold and Optical Flow Positioning

The C032 features an integrated barometric altitude hold and optical flow positioning system. This allows the helicopter to maintain a stable hover at a set altitude and position, making it easier to control, especially for beginners. The TOF altitude sensing further enhances precision.

5.5. Landing

  1. Gently reduce the throttle to slowly descend.
  2. Guide the helicopter to a clear landing spot using the right joystick.
  3. Once on the ground, fully pull down the throttle stick to stop the rotors.
  4. For one-key landing, press the designated 'Landing' button on the remote control (refer to Figure 3.4).

5.6. Advanced Maneuvers

The 6-channel control system and 6-axis gyroscope enable advanced maneuvers such as 3D inverted flight, route flight, and funnels. Refer to the remote control's specific mode settings (Mode 1/Mode 2) and practice in a safe, open environment before attempting complex stunts.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each flight, gently wipe the helicopter with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or debris. Avoid using water or solvents.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly inspect main and tail propellers for cracks, bends, or damage. Replace any damaged propellers immediately using the provided spare parts and tools.
  • Battery Care: Always disconnect the battery from the helicopter after use. Store batteries at room temperature and avoid extreme heat or cold. Do not store fully charged or fully depleted batteries for extended periods.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the helicopter and remote control in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting
