1. Introduction

The Aqua-Pure DW301 Under Sink Water Filter System is designed to provide premium performance for home water purification. This system is NSF listed for quality assurance and is engineered to reduce a wide range of contaminants, ensuring cleaner, clearer, and better-tasting drinking water directly from your tap.

4. Setup and Installation

The Aqua-Pure DW301 system is designed for under-sink installation in the cold water line, connecting to a dedicated faucet (faucet not included). Installation difficulty is rated as intermediate.

4.1. Tools Needed

Before beginning installation, ensure you have the following tools:

• Drill (cordless recommended)
• Phillips Head Screwdriver

• Razor Knife or Tube Cutter

4.2. Installation Overview

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Aqua-Pure DW301 system operates automatically to provide filtered water on demand. Simply turn on your dedicated drinking water faucet to access cleaner, clearer, and better-tasting water.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and water quality from your Aqua-Pure DW301 system.

6.1. Cartridge Replacement

The filter cartridge has a capacity of 1,000 gallons (3,785 liters). Replace the cartridge when the flow rate significantly diminishes or after 12 months of use, whichever comes first. The Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design allows for fast and easy cartridge change-out without needing to shut off the main water supply, thanks to the built-in shut-off valve.

1. Turn the existing cartridge counter-clockwise a quarter turn to remove it.
2. Insert the new cartridge into the head unit and turn clockwise a quarter turn until it clicks into place.
3. Flush the new cartridge according to the instructions provided with the replacement cartridge.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Aqua-Pure DW301 system, consider the following common solutions:

• Reduced Water Flow: This typically indicates that the filter cartridge is nearing the end of its life and needs replacement. Refer to Section 6.1 for cartridge replacement instructions.
