3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your air cooler for the first time:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around the unit for optimal air circulation. Do not place it near curtains or other objects that could obstruct airflow.
  3. Fill Water Tank: Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit. Fill the tank with clean, cool water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill. Push the water tank back into place securely.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 240V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible.

4. Operating Instructions

Your EuropAce ECO7208DWH Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control Functions:

The LED control panel displays current settings. The remote control duplicates most functions for convenience.

  • Power Button (ON/OFF): Press to turn the unit on or off.
  • Speed Button: Cycles through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, High.
  • Mode Button: Selects between 3 operating modes: Normal, Natural, Sleep.
  • Cool Button: Activates or deactivates the cooling function (water pump).
  • Swing Button (OSC): Activates or deactivates the oscillation function for wider air distribution.
  • Timer Button: Sets the operating timer from 1 to 24 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
  • Ionizer Button: Activates or deactivates the built-in ionizer for air purification.

4.2 Low Water Alarm:

The unit is equipped with a low water alarm. When the water level in the tank is too low, an indicator will light up on the control panel, and an audible alert may sound. Refill the water tank promptly to continue the cooling function.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air cooler.

5.1 General Cleaning:

  • Before cleaning, always unplug the power cord from the outlet.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure no water enters the control panel or other electrical components.

5.2 Water Tank Cleaning:

  • Empty the water tank regularly, especially if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
  • Remove the water tank and clean it with a mild detergent and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.
  • Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

5.3 Filter Cleaning:

  • The air cooler is equipped with a dust filter and cooling pads. These should be cleaned periodically, depending on usage and air quality.
  • Refer to the diagrams in the full user manual for instructions on how to access and remove the filter and cooling pads.
  • Wash the filter and cooling pads with clean water. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
  • Allow them to dry completely before reinstalling.

5.4 Storage:

When storing the air cooler for a long period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and all filters are dry. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
