5.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the device.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

1. To Power On (Self-Leveling Mode): Slide the side switch to the unlocked position (unlocked padlock icon). The laser lines will activate and begin self-leveling. The indicator light will be green.
2. To Power On (Manual Mode): Slide the side switch to the locked position (locked padlock icon). Press and hold the top button for approximately 3 seconds. The laser lines will activate, allowing for projection at any angle without self-leveling. The indicator light will be red.
3. To Change Laser Line Mode: While the device is on, short press the top button to cycle through modes:
   • Cross Line (Horizontal and Vertical)
   • Horizontal Line Only
   • Vertical Line Only
4. To Power Off: Slide the side switch to the locked position. This will also lock the pendulum for safe transport.

6.2 Self-Leveling Function

• When in Self-Leveling Mode, the device will automatically level itself within ±3°.
• If the device is tilted beyond ±3°, the laser lines will flash rapidly, and the indicator light may turn red, signaling that it is out of its self-leveling range. Adjust the device's position until the lines stop flashing and the indicator light is green.
