- Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating the machine. The machine includes a lid closure detection safety feature.
- The internal NTC temperature control system prevents overheating. Do not attempt to bypass this safety feature.
- For best results, avoid heating dairy milk or high-starch/fiber foods (like potatoes, pumpkin) in this appliance.
- It is normal for a new appliance to emit a slight odor during its first use. This will dissipate with subsequent uses.

- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories.

- Clean: Wash the inner tank, lid, and any removable accessories (like the cleaning brush and measuring cup) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Initial Cleaning Cycle: It is recommended to run a 'Clean' cycle with water only before first use to remove any manufacturing residues.
Setup
Assembling your Nut Milk Maker is straightforward:
- Place the main unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
- Ensure the inner tank is clean and properly seated within the main unit.
- Place the lid securely on top of the inner tank. The machine will not operate if the lid is not correctly positioned.
- Connect the power cord to the appliance and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
Operation
The Bear Nut Milk Maker offers a variety of functions for preparing different beverages and foods. Follow these general steps for operation:

General Operating Steps:
- Add Ingredients: Open the lid and add your desired ingredients to the inner tank. Refer to specific recipes for recommended quantities.
- Add Water: Pour water into the inner tank, ensuring it is between the MIN and MAX fill lines indicated inside the tank.
- Secure Lid: Close the lid firmly. The machine will beep or display an error if the lid is not properly secured.
- Select Function: Plug in the appliance. The control panel will illuminate. Press the 'Function' button repeatedly to cycle through the available programs (Soymilk, Porridge, Juice, Soup, Nut Milk, Oat Milk, Smoothie, Clean). The selected function will be highlighted.
- Start Program: Press the 'Start/Stop' button to begin the selected program. The machine will start processing.
- Completion: Once the program is complete, the machine will typically beep and enter 'Keep Warm' mode (if applicable) or standby. Unplug the appliance before serving or cleaning.
Specific Functions:
- Soymilk / Nut Milk / Oat Milk: These programs are designed to process raw beans or nuts into smooth, plant-based milk. No pre-soaking of ingredients is typically required.
- Juice / Smoothie: These functions blend fruits and vegetables into fresh juices or smoothies.
- Soup / Porridge: These programs cook and blend ingredients to create hot soups or porridges.
- Clean: This function initiates a high-temperature self-cleaning cycle.
Delay Start (12H) and Keep Warm (6H) Functions:
- Delay Start: After adding ingredients and water, select your desired function. Then, press the 'Reserve' button to set a delay time (up to 12 hours). The machine will start automatically after the set delay.
- Keep Warm: After certain hot programs (e.g., Soymilk, Porridge, Soup) are completed, the machine may automatically enter a 6-hour 'Keep Warm' mode to maintain the temperature of the contents.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your Nut Milk Maker.
Self-Cleaning Function:
- After use, remove any large food residues from the inner tank.
- Add water to the inner tank, up to the MAX fill line.
- Close the lid securely.
- Select the 'Clean' function on the control panel.
- Press 'Start/Stop' to begin the self-cleaning cycle. The machine will heat water up to approximately 188°F (87.8°C) and run for about 10 minutes to remove residues and sterilize.
- Once the cycle is complete, unplug the machine and carefully pour out the hot water.
- Rinse the inner tank with clean water and dry thoroughly.

Manual Cleaning:
- Always unplug the appliance before manual cleaning.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove stubborn residues from the blade and inner tank.
- Wash the lid and cleaning brush with warm, soapy water.
- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
