1. Important Safety Information

Read this manual thoroughly before operating your LANKELEISI MG600 Plus E-Bike. Failure to follow instructions can result in serious injury or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Helmet Use: Always wear an approved helmet when riding your e-bike.
  • Local Regulations: Familiarize yourself with and obey all local traffic laws and regulations regarding e-bike use.
  • Pre-Ride Check: Before each ride, inspect the brakes, tires, battery, and all fasteners to ensure they are in proper working order.
  • Battery Safety: Only use the provided charger. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures or puncture it. Keep the battery away from children and pets.
  • Braking: Practice braking in a safe area to understand the stopping distance and feel of the hydraulic disc brakes.
  • Weather Conditions: Exercise caution when riding in wet or slippery conditions, as braking distance may increase.

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your e-bike:

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the e-bike and all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for potential future transport or returns.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebar to the stem, ensuring it is centered and tightened securely.
  3. Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and screw them into the crank arms. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise. Tighten firmly with a wrench.
  4. Seat Adjustment: Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the seat height to a comfortable riding position. Ensure the quick-release lever is securely closed.
  5. Tire Inflation: Inflate the 26 x 4.0 inch fatbike tires to the recommended pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.
  6. Brake Check: Squeeze both brake levers to ensure the hydraulic disc brakes engage properly and stop the wheels effectively. Adjust if necessary.
  7. Battery Installation & Initial Charge: Insert the 48V 20Ah battery into its compartment. Fully charge the battery before your first ride. Connect the charger to the battery port and then to a power outlet. The charging time is approximately 6-7 hours.
  8. Display Attachment: Secure the LCD display to the handlebar in a visible and accessible position.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display. To power off, repeat the process.

4.2 Riding Modes

The MG600 Plus offers three riding modes:

  • Pedal Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without motor assistance.
  • Assist Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust the assistance level via the display. This mode offers a range of 120-150 km.
  • Electric Mode: Use the throttle for full electric power without pedaling. This mode offers a range of 60-70 km.

4.3 Gear Shifting

The e-bike is equipped with a 7-speed gear system. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears, adapting to different terrains and riding conditions.

4.4 Braking

The hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power. Apply both front and rear brakes smoothly and simultaneously for optimal control. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds.

4.5 LCD Display

The colored LCD display provides real-time information:

5. Battery Management

Proper battery care ensures longevity and optimal performance.

  • Charging: Always charge the battery in a dry, well-ventilated area. Do not cover the charger or battery during charging. Disconnect the charger once the battery is fully charged.
  • Removal: The 48V 20Ah battery is removable for convenient charging or storage. Use the key to unlock and remove it from the frame.
  • Storage: If storing the e-bike for an extended period, charge the battery to 50-70% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Maintenance: Keep battery terminals clean and dry. Avoid dropping or subjecting the battery to strong impacts.
