System Setup
1. Connecting the Cameras
Each 2MP camera connects to the DVR using a BNC cable for video transmission and a power cable. Use the provided 1-to-4 power splitters to power multiple cameras from a single power adapter.
- Mount cameras in desired locations, ensuring optimal viewing angles and coverage.
- Connect one end of the BNC cable to the camera's video output and the other end to an available BNC input port on the DVR.
- Connect the camera's power input to a power splitter, then connect the splitter to a 12V power adapter. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
2. Connecting the DVR
The DVR serves as the central recording and management unit for your security system.
- Connect the DVR to a monitor or TV using the provided HDMI cable.
- Connect the USB mouse to a USB port on the DVR for navigation.
- For remote viewing and network features, connect the DVR to your router using the provided network cable.
- Connect the DVR's power adapter to the DVR and then to a power outlet.
- Power on the DVR. Follow the on-screen setup wizard for initial configuration, including setting a password and network settings.

Operating the System
Live View and Recording
Once powered on and configured, the DVR will display live footage from all connected cameras. The pre-installed 8TB HDD provides continuous 24/7 recording. The system utilizes H.265+ video compression to optimize storage space and bandwidth.

AI Motion Detection 2.0
The system features advanced AI-based motion detection capable of distinguishing between humans and vehicles, reducing false alarms. Configure detection zones and sensitivity settings via the DVR interface or mobile app.

Smart Color Night Vision
The cameras are equipped with dual-light technology, offering both infrared (IR) and white light illumination. In low-light conditions, IR provides black and white night vision. When human or vehicle motion is detected, the white light activates to provide full-color night vision, enhancing detail and identification.

Remote Monitoring
Download the ANNKE mobile application on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device to access live views, playback recordings, and receive motion alerts from anywhere with an internet connection.
Maintenance
- Camera Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Weather Resistance: The cameras are IP67 rated, meaning they are protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While robust, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets.
- DVR Ventilation: Ensure the DVR is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Hard Drive Management: The system is configured for automatic overwriting when the hard drive is full. Regularly back up important footage if needed.

Troubleshooting
No Video Display
- Check all power connections for the DVR and cameras.
- Ensure the HDMI/VGA cable is securely connected between the DVR and the monitor.
- Verify that the monitor is set to the correct input source.
- Confirm BNC cables are properly connected to both cameras and DVR ports.
Remote Access Issues
- Ensure the DVR is connected to your router via the network cable.
- Verify your router has an active internet connection.
- Check the network settings on the DVR to ensure it has obtained an IP address.
- Confirm the ANNKE mobile app is updated to the latest version.
Motion Detection Not Triggering
- Review motion detection settings on the DVR or app, including sensitivity and detection zones.
- Ensure cameras are positioned correctly to capture the desired area.
- Check for obstructions in the camera's field of view.
