3. Setup

3.1 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool.
  2. Unscrew the safety cap on top of the main unit.
  3. Use the provided measuring cup and funnel to carefully pour up to 800ml of clean tap water into the tank. Do not overfill.

  5. Securely screw the safety cap back on.

3.2 Attaching Accessories

Select the appropriate attachment for your cleaning task and securely connect it to the steam hose or extension wands. Ensure all connections are firm to prevent steam leakage.

3.3 Powering On

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

  3. Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position. The indicator light will illuminate (typically red) to show the unit is heating up.

  5. Allow approximately 5 minutes for the unit to heat up. The indicator light will change color (typically blue) when the steam cleaner is ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Steam Modes

The M Mistsince NV281A offers flexible steam delivery options:

  • Manual Mode: Press and hold the steam trigger for continuous steam. Release to stop.
  • Automatic Mode (Hands-off): Engage the lock on the steam trigger for continuous steam without holding. This reduces hand fatigue during longer cleaning tasks.

4.2 General Cleaning Tips

  • Always test the steam on an inconspicuous area first to ensure no damage or discoloration occurs.
  • For heavily soiled areas, allow the steam to penetrate for a few seconds before scrubbing.
  • Wipe away loosened dirt and moisture with a clean cloth immediately after steaming.
  • The unit provides a stable 40g/min steam flow for over 20 minutes of continuous cleaning on a full tank.

5. Maintenance

5.1 After Each Use

  • Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Carefully unscrew the safety cap and empty any remaining water from the tank. This helps prevent mineral buildup.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the unit and accessories with a damp cloth.

5.2 Cleaning Mop Pads

The microfiber mop pads are machine-washable. Wash them with similar colors and air dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
