5. Setup
- Install Battery: Open the battery compartment and insert the required 18650 lithium battery (3.7V) with correct polarity. Refer to Section 7 for detailed battery replacement instructions.
- Connect to Power: Plug the provided AC power adapter into the INPUT (85-265Vac) port on the UPS and then into a wall outlet. The device will begin charging and can operate simultaneously.
- Power On: Press the power button to turn on the UPS. The LED indicators will light up, showing the current battery level.
- Connect Devices: Use the appropriate DC output cable or USB cable to connect your device (e.g., router, camera, phone) to the corresponding output port on the UPS.
- Select Output Voltage (for 9V/12V DC): If your device requires 9V or 12V DC, use the selector switch to choose the correct voltage. Ensure the selected voltage matches your device's requirements to prevent damage.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering Devices
Once the UPS is set up and powered on, it will automatically provide power to connected devices. In case of a power outage, the UPS will seamlessly switch to battery power, ensuring continuous operation of your connected equipment.

6.2 Output Voltage Selection
For devices requiring 9V or 12V DC, locate the selector switch near the DC output ports. Slide the switch to the desired voltage (9V or 12V) before connecting your device. The 5V USB output and POE outputs are fixed and do not require manual selection.
6.3 Charging Mobile Devices
Connect your mobile phone or other USB-powered device to the 5V USB output port using a compatible USB cable. The UPS will provide 5V power for charging.
7. Battery Replacement
The YUEHISY UPS features a replaceable battery design, allowing you to extend its lifespan. The device requires an 18650 lithium battery with a standard voltage of 3.7V. The discharge rate should not be lower than 2C.
- Power Off: Ensure the UPS is powered off and disconnected from all power sources and connected devices.
- Open Compartment: Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on the underside or side of the unit. Gently slide or unclip the cover to open it.
- Remove Old Battery: Carefully remove the old 18650 battery.
- Insert New Battery: Insert a new 18650 lithium battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the indicators inside the compartment. Incorrect polarity can damage the device.
- Close Compartment: Securely close the battery compartment cover.
- Test: Reconnect the UPS to power and turn it on to verify proper operation.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
