Important Compatibility Note: This product is specifically designed for BMW 5 Series F10 F11 models from 2009 to 2015 that are equipped with the CIC system and a 4-pin LVDS plug. It is not compatible with NBT, CCC, or EVO systems. Verify your car's system type before proceeding with installation.

3. Setup and Installation
Installation of this Android radio requires removal of parts of your car's dashboard. Professional installation is highly recommended. Incorrect wiring or installation can damage the device or your vehicle's electrical system.
3.1 Pre-installation Checklist
- Confirm your vehicle is a BMW 5 Series F10 F11 (2009-2015) with a CIC system and 4-pin LVDS plug.
- Gather all necessary tools (not all tools are included in the package).
- Disconnect the car battery's negative terminal before starting any electrical work.
3.2 General Installation Steps
- Carefully remove the original car screen and any necessary dashboard trim panels to access the wiring.
- Connect the provided power cable to the car's wiring harness. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect the 4-pin LVDS cable from the new screen to the car's original LVDS port.
- Connect the AUX cable, USB cable, 4G antenna, GPS antenna, and microphone to their respective ports on the new Android unit.
- Before fully reassembling the dashboard, temporarily reconnect the car battery and test the unit's basic functions (power on, touch response, audio, original system display).
- If all functions work correctly, disconnect the battery again, carefully route all cables to avoid pinching, and reassemble the dashboard and trim panels.
- Reconnect the car battery.
4. Operating Instructions
The CNSTWEI Android Radio offers a range of features to enhance your driving experience. The unit supports both touchscreen input and retains functionality of your original iDrive controller and steering wheel buttons.
4.1 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
The unit features built-in wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows seamless integration of your smartphone for navigation, music, calls, and messaging.
- To Connect: Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone. On the Android radio, navigate to the CarPlay/Android Auto application. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth first, then confirm the Wi-Fi connection.
- Once connected, your phone's compatible apps will appear on the car's display.
4.2 GPS Navigation
The system supports various GPS navigation applications, including Google Maps and Igo. You can use both online and offline maps.
- Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed for optimal signal reception.
- Download offline maps in advance if you plan to use navigation without an internet connection.
4.3 Split Screen Mode
The split-screen function allows you to run two applications simultaneously, such as navigation on one side and a video player on the other.
- To activate, open the first application, then long-press the recent apps button or drag the app to one side of the screen (depending on the Android version). Select the second application to fill the other half.

4.4 Reversing System
The unit supports your vehicle's original reversing camera and parking radar system. It also allows for the installation of aftermarket reverse cameras.
- When reverse gear is engaged, the screen will automatically switch to the camera view.

4.5 Original Car System Integration

- Original car radio and amplifier functions.
- Factory joystick (iDrive) control.
