5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely to maintain the IPX5 rating.

5.2 Connecting the Timer
- Ensure the faucet is turned off.
- Thread the timer onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten firmly. Use the included PTFE tape on the faucet threads if necessary to ensure a watertight seal.
- Connect your garden hoses or irrigation lines to the two outlets at the bottom of the timer. Ensure the connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Slowly turn on the faucet. Check for any leaks. If leaks occur, tighten connections or reapply PTFE tape.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Button Functions
- ESC/OFF: Exit current setting, turn off watering.
- OK: Confirm selection, move to next setting.
- +/-: Adjust values (increase/decrease).
- Manual: Initiate manual watering.
- Delay: Activate rain delay function.
- 1/2 NOW ZONE: Switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2 for programming.
6.2 Setting Current Time
- Press the OK button to enter time setting mode.
- Use +/- buttons to adjust the hour. Press OK to confirm.
- Use +/- buttons to adjust the minute. Press OK to confirm.
- The current time is now set.
6.3 Programming Watering Schedules (Automatic Mode)
The timer allows up to three customizable watering programs per zone.
- Press 1/2 NOW ZONE to select either Zone 1 or Zone 2.
- Press OK repeatedly until 'START TIME' flashes. Use +/- to set the desired start time for the first program. Press OK.
- When 'HOW LONG' flashes, use +/- to set the watering duration (1 minute to 360 minutes). Press OK.
- When 'HOW OFTEN' flashes, use +/- to set the watering frequency (e.g., every 1 hour, every 2 days, up to 15 days). Press OK.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for the second and third programs if needed.
- Press ESC/OFF to return to the main screen. The timer is now in automatic mode.

6.4 Manual Watering
To water manually without affecting your programmed schedule:
- Press the Manual button.
- Use +/- to set the desired manual watering duration.
- Press OK to start manual watering.
- To stop manual watering, press Manual again or ESC/OFF.

- Press the Delay button.
