2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation
The Depuley outdoor ceiling fan features a hanging installation design for ease of setup. It is a 'Plug & Play' unit, simplifying electrical connection.
4.1 Choosing a Mounting Location
Select a location that provides adequate clearance for the fan blades (minimum 7 feet from the floor to the blades). Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound.
Note: It is not recommended to hang this waterproof fan from sloped ceilings.
4.2 Installation Steps
- Mounting Bracket Installation: Secure the stable hook mounting bracket to a suitable ceiling joist or support beam using appropriate hardware.
- Downrod Assembly: Attach the chosen downrod (5-inch or 10-inch) to the fan motor housing. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the installed stable hook.
- Blade Attachment: Securely attach the three ABS fan blades to the motor housing.
- Light Kit Installation: Connect and secure the integrated LED light kit to the bottom of the fan motor housing.
- Power Connection: Connect the 16.4 ft power cord to the fan using the waterproof connector. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
Your Depuley ceiling fan can be controlled using the included remote control or a dedicated mobile application.
5.1 Remote Control Functions
The remote control allows full access to all fan and light features:
- Fan On/Off: Turns the fan on or off.
- Fan Speed: Select from 6 distinct fan speeds (Levels 1-2: Low Comfortable Wind, Levels 3-4: Medium Natural Wind, Levels 5-6: High Cooling Wind).
- Forward/Reverse Switch: Changes the direction of blade rotation for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow for air circulation).
- Light On/Off: Turns the integrated LED light on or off.
- Brightness Adjustment: Stepless dimming from 10% to 100%.
- Color Temperature Switching: Cycle through Warm Light (3000K), Neutral Light (4500K), and Cool Light (6000K).
- Night Light Mode: Activates a low-intensity light setting.
- Timer Function: Sets the fan to turn off automatically after 2 hours.

5.3 Fan Modes (Summer/Winter)

The reversible DC motor allows you to change the direction of the fan blades:
- Summer Mode (Clockwise Rotation): Creates a downward airflow, producing a cooling effect.
