1. Safety Information
Before installation and operation, please read this manual carefully. Retain this manual for future reference. Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker before beginning installation or performing any maintenance. Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes and ordinances. If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure the fan is installed with proper grounding. Do not bend the blade holders during installation, balancing, or cleaning. Never insert foreign objects between rotating fan blades.
2. What's in the Box
Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly:

3. Setup and Installation
This ceiling fan requires assembly and is designed for Downrod Mount and Semi Flush Mount installation. It is compatible with both flat and sloped ceilings.
3.1 Pre-Installation Steps
- Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
- Unpack all components and inspect for any damage.
- Review the wiring diagram provided in the included instruction manual.
3.2 Mounting the Fan
Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box. Ensure the junction box is securely fastened to the building structure and can support the weight of the fan (approximately 23.6 pounds). Attach the downrod to the motor housing and then hang the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket.
3.3 Wiring Connections
Connect the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram. Typically, this involves connecting the live, neutral, and ground wires from the ceiling to the corresponding wires on the fan. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
3.4 Attaching Blades and Crystal Shade
The fan features 4 transparent, retractable acrylic blades. These blades will extend automatically when the fan is turned on. The crystal shade comes pre-assembled. Carefully attach the crystal chandelier housing to the fan motor assembly.

4. Operating Instructions
The Siljoy ceiling fan is controlled via the included remote control, offering various settings for comfort and ambiance.
4.1 Remote Control Functions
- Power On/Off: Turns the fan and light on or off.
- Fan Speed: Select from 6 fan speeds (1-6) to adjust airflow.
- Light Control: Turn the light on/off. Press repeatedly to cycle through 3 color temperatures (Warm Light, Neutral Light, Cool Light).
- Timer: Set a timer for 1, 2, or 4 hours.
- Reverse Mode: Changes the direction of the fan blades for seasonal use.
- Natural Wind Mode: Simulates natural breeze by varying fan speeds.

4.2 Fan Blade Operation
The 4 acrylic fan blades automatically extend when the fan is turned on and retract when turned off, providing a sleek appearance when not in use.
4.3 Reversible Airflow
The fan features reversible blades for year-round comfort:
- Summer (Downdraft Mode): Creates a cool breeze, reducing reliance on air conditioning.
- Winter (Updraft Mode): Circulates warm air, improving heating efficiency.

4.4 Lighting Features
The fan requires 5 x E12 bulbs (Max 40W, not included). For optimal functionality, 3-color E12 LED bulbs are recommended to utilize the color-changing feature:
- Warm Light (3000K): Ideal for cozy evenings or sleeping.
- Neutral Light (4500K): Suitable for formal dining or general ambiance.
- Cool Light (6000K): Best for reading or tasks requiring bright illumination.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.
5.1 Cleaning
The transparent, retractable acrylic blades are designed for easy cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the blades and the electroplated gold frame. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish or crystals.

5.2 Bulb Replacement
Ensure the power is off at the circuit breaker before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before handling. Replace with E12 base bulbs, maximum 40W each.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Siljoy ceiling fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Fan does not start: Check power supply, ensure remote control batteries are functional, and verify all wiring connections are secure.
- Light does not work: Check bulb installation, ensure bulbs are not burnt out, and verify light wiring connections.
- Excessive wobbling: Ensure all blade screws are tightened. Check that the mounting bracket is securely installed and balanced.
- Remote control not responding: Replace remote batteries. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fan receiver.
