4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is designed to be straightforward. It is recommended to have two people for easier installation. All necessary tools are included.

4.1. Unboxing and Preparation

1. Carefully open the packaging. Due to the use of tape and strapping, use appropriate tools to cut open the carton.
2. Lift up the carton. All accessories are wrapped in pearl cotton to avoid wear and tear.
3. Remove all components from the box and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.

4.2. Attaching Armrests to the Base

4. Position the sofa base on its side.
5. Align the left armrest with the corresponding side of the sofa base.
6. Insert the provided bolts and washers into the pre-drilled holes. Do not fully tighten the screws at this stage; leave some space for installing the backrest.
7. Repeat the process for the right armrest.

4.3. Attaching the Backrest

7. Place the backrest onto the base, ensuring it aligns with the armrests.
8. Unzip the fabric on the backrest and armrests to expose the metal frame and screw holes.
9. Insert the remaining bolts and washers to secure the backrest to the armrests and base.
10. Once all components are aligned, fully tighten all screws connecting the armrests and backrest to the base. Zip up the fabric covers.

4.4. Attaching the Legs

11. Turn the sofa upside down.
12. Rotate and twist each wooden leg into the designated mounting plates on the bottom of the sofa until secure.
13. For flexible fixing options, screw holes can be either screwed in or left unscrewed, depending on your needs. A power drill is recommended for screwing operations if you choose to fully secure them.

4.5. Cushion Placement

14. Remove the dust cover from the seat area.
15. Unpack the compressed seat and back cushions. Allow them to fully expand within 72 hours. Gently knead them by hand to aid in recovery.
16. Place the seat cushions onto the sofa base. Ensure the Velcro on the bottom of the seat cushions aligns with the Velcro on the sofa base for secure placement.
17. Place the back cushions against the backrest, aligning the Velcro for stability.

5. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Kingfun sofa.

• Cleaning: The high-quality faux leather resists spills and stains. For general cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Cushion Care: Fluff cushions regularly to maintain their shape and comfort.
• Sunlight Exposure: Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure to prevent fading and material degradation.
• Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep sharp objects away from the upholstery to prevent punctures or tears.
