5. Installation

5.1 Suspended Mounting

The Xbuyee LED Linear Light is designed for suspended installation. The adjustable aircraft cables allow for flexible height adjustment.

1. Prepare Mounting Location: Identify the desired location for the fixture. Ensure the ceiling or mounting surface can support the weight of the light.
2. Install Cable Mount Caps: Secure the cable mount caps to the ceiling using the provided plastic wall anchors and self-tapping screws.
3. Assemble and Adjust Cables: Attach the wire slings to the length adjuster bases. Insert the wire slings into the cable mount caps. Adjust the cable length by pressing the release mechanism on the length adjuster base to achieve the desired hanging height.
4. Attach to Light Fixture: Insert the hanging splices into the designated slots on the top of the light fixture. Secure them with the truss head machine screws.
5. Re-attach End Caps: If removed for wiring or linking, re-attach the end caps to the fixture.

5.2 Electrical Wiring

This fixture is designed for hardwired installation. It does not include a power cord. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before wiring.

• Connect the live, neutral, and ground wires from your electrical supply to the corresponding wires on the fixture.
• For 0-10V dimming functionality, connect the dimming wires from the fixture to a compatible 0-10V dimmer switch (not included).

5.3 Seamless Connection (for multiple units)

Multiple 8FT fixtures can be linked together for extended lighting runs. Note that each 8FT light requires individual wiring for power.

1. Remove End Cap: Carefully remove the end cap from the fixture where you intend to link.
2. Link Fixtures: Align and connect the two fixtures.
3. Fix Locking Splice: Secure the connection using the provided locking splice and screws.

6. Operating Instructions

The Xbuyee LED Linear Light features adjustable settings for wattage, color temperature, and an innovative up/down light function.

6.1 Wattage Adjustment

The fixture offers five wattage options to suit different brightness requirements. Locate the wattage selector switch on the side of the fixture and slide it to your desired setting (100W, 90W, 80W, 70W, or 60W).

6.2 Color Temperature Adjustment (CCT)

Choose from three color temperature options to create the desired ambiance. Locate the CCT selector switch on the side of the fixture and slide it to your preferred setting (3000K Warm White, 4000K Bright White, or 5000K Daylight).

6.3 Up and Down Light Function

This fixture provides both direct (down) and indirect (up) lighting. The downlight provides bright, focused illumination (70W-7700lm), while the uplight creates a warm ambient glow (30W-3300lm) without glare. An 'Upper Light ON/OFF' switch is available on the fixture to control the uplight independently.

6.4 0-10V Dimming

The fixture is 0-10V dimmable, allowing for smooth brightness control from 0% to 100% when connected to a compatible 0-10V dimmer switch (not included). This feature enables precise light level adjustment without flickering.
