Setup

Receiver Setup

  1. Connect Antennas: Screw the four included antennas onto the ANT-A and ANT-B connectors on the rear panel of the receiver.   2. Power Connection: Connect the AC-DC adapter to the DC INPUT port on the receiver's rear panel and then plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.
  3. Audio Output:
    • For individual channel output, use XLR cables (not included) to connect the BALANCED-A and BALANCED-B XLR outputs to your mixer or amplifier.
    • For a mixed output of both channels, use the provided 1/4" audio cable to connect the MIXOUT port to your mixer or amplifier.

Microphone Setup

  1. Install Batteries: Unscrew the bottom part of each handheld microphone and insert two fresh AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity.
  2. Power On: Turn on the receiver and then power on each handheld microphone.
  3. Frequency Sync: The system features infrared scan and sync for automatic setup.
    • On the receiver, initiate the infrared scan function (refer to the receiver's front panel controls for specific button).
    • Align the infrared sensor on the microphone with the infrared sensor on the receiver. The system will automatically sync the frequencies.
    • Repeat for the second microphone.

Receiver Display and Controls

The multi-functional LCD indicator on the receiver displays critical information:

  • RF Status: Indicates the strength of the radio frequency signal.
  • Audio Status: Shows audio signal presence and level.
  • Volume Control: Adjust individual channel volume directly on the receiver.
  • Battery Runtime: Provides precise battery life indication for the connected microphones.

Frequency Management

  • Preset Frequencies: Each channel has 100 preset frequencies for selection.
  • True Diversity Reception: The system utilizes two antennas per transmitter for enhanced signal stability and reduced dropouts.
  • Group Function: Pressing the Group button allows automatic addressing of up to 8 systems simultaneously in the same location, simplifying multi-system setups.
  • RF Power Level: The RF power level is switchable between LO (Low) and HI (High) to adapt to different operating environments and optimize range versus battery life.
