Setup Instructions

1. Prepare the Unit: Place the cold therapy unit on a stable, flat surface. Ensure it is not near any heat sources or direct sunlight.
2. Fill the Reservoir: Lift the lid of the unit. Fill the reservoir with a mixture of water and ice. For optimal performance, a ratio of one part water to two parts ice is recommended. Alternatively, you can use frozen water bottles and water. The unit has markings inside to guide you on fill levels.
3. Connect the Pad: Attach the therapy pad to the hose connector. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks. Note: This unit features new style connectors. If using an extra replacement pad, ensure its connectors are compatible or replaced as needed.
4. Position the Pad: Wrap the extra-large therapy pad around the desired body part (e.g., knee, hip, back). Use the included elastic straps to secure the pad comfortably in place.
5. Power On: Plug the power adapter into the unit and then into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

• Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the unit on or off.
• Set Timer: The programmable feature allows you to set single, loop, or non-stop run times. Use the "Run" and "Rest" buttons to adjust the on-off cycle according to your needs.

• Storage: When not in use, drain all water from the unit, hose, and pad. Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

• No Water Flow:
  • Check if the unit is properly plugged in and powered on.
  • Ensure there is sufficient water and ice in the reservoir.
  • Verify that the hose connections are secure and free from kinks.
  • Check for any blockages in the hose or pad.
• Insufficient Coldness:
  • Add more ice to the reservoir.
  • Ensure the ice-to-water ratio is appropriate (1 part water, 2 parts ice).
  • Verify the lid is securely closed to maintain insulation.
• Unusual Noise:
  • Check if the unit is on a stable, flat surface.
  • Ensure the water level is adequate; low water can cause pump noise.
