Troubleshooting

  • Camera Disconnects Frequently:
Ensure the camera is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router. Obstacles like thick walls can interfere with the signal. Try repositioning the camera or router, or consider a Wi-Fi extender. Verify that your router is broadcasting a stable 2.4GHz signal.
  • No Power / Camera Not Turning On:
Check the power adapter and cable for any damage. Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the camera and a working power outlet. If the issue persists, try a different power outlet.
  • Unable to Connect to Wi-Fi:
Confirm that you are attempting to connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as the camera does not support 5GHz. Double-check your Wi-Fi password. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same 2.4GHz network during setup. If necessary, reset the camera (refer to the app for reset instructions) and attempt the connection process again.
  • Poor Image Quality:
Clean the camera lenses to remove any dirt or smudges. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view. Check your internet connection speed, as a slow connection can affect streaming quality.
  • Motion Detection Not Working:
Verify that motion detection is enabled in the app settings. Adjust the sensitivity levels and detection zones. Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the camera's view.
  • Two-Way Audio Issues:
Check the microphone and speaker settings in the app. Ensure your phone's volume is up. Make sure there are no physical obstructions covering the camera's microphone or speaker.
