Introduction

The Ninja Luxe Café Premier Series is an intelligent espresso & coffee system designed to simplify and elevate your home coffee experience. This versatile machine offers no-guesswork espresso, well-balanced drip coffee, and rapid cold brew. Featuring Barista Assist Technology for guided grind size recommendations and automated brew adjustments, along with a Dual Froth System for hands-free microfoam creation, it enables you to craft café-quality drinks with ease.

Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. Place the machine on a stable, level surface. Fill the water reservoir located at the back of the unit with fresh, cold water. The integrated grinder is designed for whole coffee beans. For pre-ground coffee, use the provided funnel and portafilter.

Operating Instructions

The Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Series offers a guided brewing experience. Follow the on-screen prompts and recommendations for optimal results.

Grind Size Recommendations

The Barista Assist Technology monitors each brew and provides a grind size recommendation based on the previous brew. Adjust the grind setting on the conical burr grinder (25 settings available) according to the machine's recommendation to prevent sour or bitter brews.

Brewing Espresso

Select from two espresso styles: double shot or quad shot. The machine's Barista Assist Technology actively adjusts brew temperature and pressure for balanced flavor. For cold-pressed espresso, a smoother, more concentrated brew is achieved at a lower temperature and pressure, ideal for cocktails.

Brewing Drip Coffee & Cold Brew

Choose from three drip coffee styles: classic, rich, or over ice. For cold brew, select between cold-pressed espresso or cold brew coffee. Available sizes for drip coffee and cold brew include 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18 oz. The machine's versatility allows for a wide range of coffeehouse favorites at home.

Hands-Free Frothing

The Dual Froth System combines steaming and whisking to create perfectly textured microfoam. Select your milk type (dairy or plant-based) and choose from four preset programs: steamed milk, thin froth, thick froth, and cold foam. The system automates the frothing process, removing the trial-and-error of manual frothing.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Series. The machine features automatic clean and purge cycles to prevent buildup.

Cleaning

• Daily Cleaning: After each use, clean the portafilter, milk jug, and drip tray. Many parts are dishwasher safe.
• Accessory Storage: Conveniently store the tamper and funnel on the side of the machine. Brew baskets, cleaning brush, and cleaning disc can be kept in the built-in storage compartment.
• Cleaning Tablets: Use the provided cleaning tablets as directed by the machine's prompts to maintain internal cleanliness.

Descaling

The machine will indicate when descaling is required. Use the provided descaling powder and follow the instructions in the included Instructions & Inspiration Guide. Regular descaling, especially with hard water (test with the Hard Water Testing Kit), is crucial for preventing mineral buildup and ensuring consistent performance.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Series, consider the following common solutions:

• Sour or Bitter Brews: This often indicates an incorrect grind size. Refer to the machine's grind size recommendations and adjust accordingly. Ensure fresh beans are used, ideally with a roast date not older than 3 months.
• Inconsistent Froth: Verify that the correct milk type (dairy or plant-based) is selected on the control panel. Ensure the milk jug and frothing system components are clean and free of residue.
• Machine Not Brewing: Check the water reservoir level. Ensure the portafilter is correctly inserted and locked into place. Verify that the bean hopper has sufficient whole beans or that pre-ground coffee is properly loaded.
• "Refill Bean Hopper" Error: If using certain bean types, especially lighter roasts, the machine may incorrectly prompt to refill the hopper. Try a different brand or type of medium to dark roast beans.
