The headlamp features a compact design with an adjustable elastic headband and a detachable light unit. The light unit itself has two buttons on top: a power button and a sensor activation button. The front houses the LED light, and the unit can be tilted to adjust the beam angle.

5. Setup
5.1 Attaching the Headband
- Unpack the headlamp and the elastic headband.
- Thread the ends of the elastic headband through the loops on either side of the headlamp unit.
- Adjust the length of the headband to ensure a comfortable and secure fit around your head. The headband should be snug but not too tight.
5.2 Initial Charge
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the headlamp. Refer to the "6.4 Charging the Headlamp" section for detailed instructions.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Lighting Modes
The headlamp features 5 lighting modes, controlled by the power button (usually the larger button).
- First Press: Activates Strong Light mode.
- Second Press: Switches to Medium Light mode.
- Third Press: Switches to Low Light mode.
- Fourth Press: Activates Flashlight mode (strobe).
- Fifth Press: Activates SOS mode.
- Sixth Press: Turns the headlamp off.
- Quick Off Feature: If the headlamp remains in any mode for more than 5 seconds, a single press of the power button will turn it off directly.
6.2 Adjusting Beam Angle
The headlamp unit can be physically tilted up or down by up to 50 degrees. Gently rotate the light unit to direct the beam as needed for your activity.

6.3 Sensor Function (Motion Control)
The headlamp is equipped with a sensitive wave sensor for hands-free operation.
- Activate Sensor Mode: With the headlamp turned on in any lighting mode, press the smaller sensor button (usually next to the power button). The sensor indicator light may illuminate.
- Control Light: Wave your hand within approximately 15 cm (6 inches) in front of the headlamp to turn the light on or off.
- Deactivate Sensor Mode: Press the sensor button again to return to manual control.
6.4 Charging the Headlamp
The PHILIPS SFL1851 headlamp has a built-in 500 mAh lithium battery and is rechargeable via a USB cable.
- Locate the USB charging port on the headlamp unit.
- Connect the provided USB cable to the headlamp's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter, power bank).
- An indicator light will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green/blue for fully charged).
- Charging typically takes a few hours. Disconnect the cable once fully charged.
Important: To prolong battery life, avoid completely depleting the battery before recharging. Charge the product in a timely manner when the light becomes dim.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the headlamp body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- If the headband becomes dirty, it can be hand-washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried. Ensure the headlamp unit is detached before washing the headband.
7.2 Storage
- Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
