4. Installation Guide

4.1 Head Unit Dimensions and Screen Adjustment

The head unit has a standard single DIN installation size of 178mm x 50mm (7.0 x 1.97 inches). The detachable screen offers flexibility in positioning.

4.2 Wiring Description

Carefully follow the wiring diagram to connect the car stereo to your vehicle's electrical system. Incorrect wiring can cause damage.

Key Wiring Connections:

  • Yellow (B+): Connect to constant +12V power supply.

  1. Connect the camera's video output (yellow RCA) to the 'CAMIN' input on the car stereo.
  2. Connect the camera's power wire (red) to the vehicle's reversing light positive (+12V).
  3. Connect the camera's ground wire (black) to a suitable ground point.
  4. Connect the trigger wire (labeled 'back' or 'reverse' on the power cable harness) to the reversing light positive.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Basic Controls

  • Power On: The unit will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on (ACC power).
  • Power Off: The unit will power off automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned off.
  • Volume Control: Use the physical knob or touchscreen controls to adjust volume.
  • Home Screen: Tap the 'Home' icon on the screen to return to the main menu.

5.2 Radio Operation (FM/RDS)

6.2 Mirror Link

Mirror Link allows you to display your smartphone's screen directly onto the car stereo. Connect your phone via USB and follow the on-screen prompts to activate.
