Setup
1. Battery Installation
Main Display Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main display unit. Insert the required batteries (typically AA or AAA, refer to the battery compartment label) ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
Outdoor Multi-Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the outdoor multi-sensor. Insert the required batteries, observing polarity. Close the compartment securely to ensure weather resistance.
Remote Sensor (Optional): For additional temperature/humidity sensors (channels 1, 2, or 3), open their battery compartments and insert batteries with correct polarity. These sensors are designed for indoor or sheltered outdoor use.
2. Sensor Placement

Outdoor Multi-Sensor: Mount the outdoor multi-sensor in an open area, away from obstructions that could block wind or rain. Ensure it is at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) above the ground for accurate readings. Avoid placing it near heat sources (e.g., air conditioning units) or reflective surfaces that could skew temperature readings. The sensor has a transmission range of up to 200ft/60m in open air.
Main Display Unit: Place the main display unit indoors, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which could affect its internal temperature and humidity readings. Ensure it is within the transmission range of the outdoor sensor.

Remote Sensor (Optional): Place additional remote sensors in desired locations (e.g., another room, garage, or a sheltered outdoor area). Ensure they are within range of the main display unit.
3. Initial Synchronization
After installing batteries in both the main unit and sensors, the main unit will automatically begin searching for sensor signals. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are close to each other during initial setup. Once connected, the outdoor readings will appear on the main display.
