8. Troubleshooting

8.1 No Power

  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the decoder and a working electrical outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is active.
  • Check if the power adapter is damaged.

8.2 No Audio Output

  • Confirm the correct input source is selected on the decoder.
  • Check all audio cables (HDMI, Optical, Coaxial, RCA) for secure connections.
  • Ensure your amplifier or active speakers are powered on and set to the correct input.
  • Adjust the volume on both the decoder and your audio system.
  • For digital inputs (Optical/Coaxial), ensure the source device is outputting PCM or a supported format (DTS, AC3). Some TVs may require setting the digital audio output to "PCM" or "Bitstream" instead of "Auto".
  • If using HDMI ARC, ensure ARC is enabled on both the TV and the decoder, and that the HDMI cable supports ARC.

8.3 USB Playback Issues

  • Ensure the USB drive is formatted correctly (FAT32 or NTFS).
  • Verify that the audio files are in a supported format (WAV, FLAC, APE, AA).
  • Try a different USB drive to rule out drive compatibility issues.

9. Maintenance

  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear to prevent overheating.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
