4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your EMIAH Ergonomic Office Chair:

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.

2. Install Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base. Cover the gas lift with the plastic cover.
3. Attach Armrests to Seat: Align the armrests with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure them using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure the armrests are facing the correct direction.

4. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the mounting plates on the seat cushion. Secure with the remaining screws.

5. Connect Seat to Base: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the tapered end of the gas lift fits securely into the mechanism under the seat.

5. Operating Instructions

Your EMIAH Ergonomic Office Chair offers several adjustable features for personalized comfort:

5.1. Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair height, locate the lever on the right side under the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the chair. To raise the chair, stand up slightly and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height.

5.2. Reclining Function

The backrest can recline between 90 and 155 degrees. Use the lever on the left side under the seat to adjust the recline angle. Pull the lever up to unlock the backrest, lean back to your desired angle, and push the lever down to lock it in place. The chair also features adjustable tilt tension, typically controlled by a knob under the seat, allowing you to customize the effort required to recline.

5.3. Retractable Footrest

To use the footrest, pull it out from under the seat. It can be extended to provide leg support when reclining or for a criss-cross sitting position. Push it back in when not in use.

5.4. Swivel Function

The chair features a 360-degree swivel function, allowing for easy movement and access to different areas of your workspace without needing to reposition the entire chair.

• Casters are not rolling smoothly:
  • Check for any hair, dust, or debris caught in the casters and clean them.
