1.1 Safety Information

  • Always place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
  • Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the unit's rating label.
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Keep the air intake and exhaust vents clear of obstructions.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unit Placement

Place the portable air conditioner on a firm, level surface near a window. Ensure there is at least 20 inches of space around the unit for proper airflow.

4.2 Window Kit Installation

The included window kit is designed for installation in double-hung or sliding windows. It is not suitable for casement or crank-out windows.

  1. Adjust the window seal plate to fit your window opening.
  2. Secure the plate in the window frame.
  3. Attach the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust port and then to the adapter on the window seal plate. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leakage.

4.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The unit can be operated using the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

5.2 Operating Modes

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available modes:

  • Cooling Mode: Provides cooling. Use the TEMP+ and TEMP- buttons to set the desired temperature (61°F to 88°F).
  • Heating Mode: Provides heating. Use the TEMP+ and TEMP- buttons to set the desired temperature (61°F to 88°F).
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Adjust fan speed (Low, Medium, High) using the SPEED button.
  • Dehumidifier Mode: Removes moisture from the air. The unit will operate at a fixed fan speed.

5.3 Timer Function

Press the TIMER button to set the desired operating duration (1-24 hours) for automatic shut-off or turn-on.

5.4 Sleep Mode

Activate Sleep Mode for quieter operation and gradual temperature adjustments during sleep. This mode is designed to maintain comfort while minimizing disturbance.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your unit.

6.1 Air Filter Cleaning

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage. A dirty filter can reduce efficiency.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.

6.2 Water Drainage

In Dehumidifier mode or high humidity conditions, the internal water tank may fill. The unit will stop operating and display a 'Full' indicator. Drain the water using the drain port at the bottom of the unit.

6.3 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6.4 Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is completely drained of water, clean the air filter, and store it in a dry, upright position.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Unit does not turn on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Ensure the outlet is functional. Check for a full water tank indicator.
  • Unit is not cooling/heating effectively: Verify the selected mode and temperature setting. Ensure the air filter is clean. Check that the exhaust hose is properly installed and not obstructed. Close windows and doors in the room.
  • Water full indicator is on: Drain the water from the unit.
  • Unusual noise: Ensure the unit is on a flat surface. Check for any foreign objects in the air vents.
