It recommends adding 4-5 inches to both measurements for adequate space.
Operating Instructions
- Removable Divider: The internal divider can be easily inserted or removed to create one large compartment or two separate spaces for multiple pets. To remove, simply lift and slide it out of its designated slots. To install, align it with the slots and lower it into place.
- Sliding Barn Doors: The front barn doors slide smoothly along their tracks to open or close the main compartments. Gently push or pull the doors to operate. Ensure they are fully closed and latched when securing your pet.
- Side Access Doors: In addition to the sliding front doors, the crate features traditional hinged side doors for convenient access. Unlatch and open these doors for easy cleaning, feeding, or pet entry/exit.
- Storage Drawers: The four deep storage drawers are located above the crate compartments. Pull the handles to open and push to close. These are ideal for storing pet essentials like toys, treats, and grooming supplies.
- Multi-functional Use: The reinforced flat top surface can support up to an 80-inch TV, functioning as a TV stand. It also provides space for decorative items, enhancing your living space.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down all surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild, pet-safe cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish or harm your pet.
- Metal Components: The metal bars and hardware can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Ensure they are dried thoroughly to prevent rust.
- Drawer Slides: Periodically check and clean the drawer slides to ensure smooth operation. If they become stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied.
- Regular Inspection: Routinely check all screws, bolts, and latches to ensure they remain tight. Tighten any loose fasteners to maintain structural integrity.
Troubleshooting
- Drawers Not Closing Smoothly: Check if the drawer slides are properly aligned and free of obstructions. Ensure all screws securing the slides are tight. If the issue persists, verify that the drawer itself was assembled correctly.
- Doors Sticking: Inspect the door tracks for any debris or misalignment. Clean the tracks and ensure the doors are properly seated.
- Crate Wobbles: Ensure the crate is placed on a flat, level surface. Check all assembly connections and tighten any loose hardware.
- Pet Chewing: While the metal bars are chew-resistant, the wooden components are not entirely impervious. Consider using chew deterrent sprays or providing appropriate chew toys to redirect your pet's chewing behavior.
