Operating Instructions
General Operation
Once assembled and plugged in, press the Power button located on the handheld vacuum to turn the unit on. The vacuum features intelligent sensors that adapt to your cleaning needs.

DuoClean Detect Technology
The DuoClean Detect system incorporates two brushrolls that work together to clean both carpets and hard floors. Intelli-Sense sensors automatically adjust brushroll speed for optimal performance across different surfaces.

Floor Detect Feature
The Intelli-Sense ultrasonic sensor detects the type of floor you are cleaning (e.g., carpet, hard floor) and the vacuum automatically adapts the brushroll speed for optimal cleaning performance on that specific surface. This ensures efficient cleaning and prevents damage to delicate floors.

Direction Detect Feature
The Intelli-Sense directional sensor recognizes the direction you are vacuuming. POWERDETECT directs its powerful suction forward or reverse, providing maximum cleaning efficiency in both directions, allowing for faster cleaning.

Using Attachments and Extended Reach
To use the vacuum in handheld mode or with attachments, detach the handheld vacuum from the wand. You can also detach the wand from the floor nozzle to use it for extended reach cleaning in high areas or tight spaces.
- Pet Power Brush: Ideal for removing pet hair and dander from upholstery and stairs.
- Upholstery Tool: Designed for cleaning pet hair, dust, and debris from furniture and other upholstered surfaces.
- Crevice Tool: Perfect for cleaning in tight spaces, corners, and along baseboards.

Odor Neutralizer Technology
This technology guards against bad odors inside your vacuum, helping to freshen your home as you clean. Ensure the Odor Neutralizer Technology Cartridge is properly installed and replace it as needed.

Self-Standing Feature
The POWERDETECT vacuum is designed to stand on its own without falling over, providing convenient storage and temporary upright placement during cleaning tasks.

Under-Furniture Reach
The low-profile design of the floor nozzle allows for easy cleaning under furniture and in tight spaces, ensuring thorough cleaning throughout your home.

Maintenance
Emptying the Dust Cup
Empty the dust cup after each use or when debris reaches the MAX FILL line. To empty, press the dust cup release latch and remove the dust cup. Hold it over a trash bin and press the empty button to release the bottom flap.
Cleaning Filters
Regularly clean the filters to maintain optimal suction power. Rinse filters with cold water only. Allow all filters to air-dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling them to prevent moisture from being drawn into electric parts.
- Pre-Motor Filters (Foam & Felt): Located above the dust cup. Rinse every 3 months.
- HEPA Filter: Located at the bottom of the handheld vacuum. Rinse once a year.
Self-Cleaning Brushroll Maintenance
The self-cleaning brushroll is designed to prevent hair wrap. However, occasionally check the brushroll for any debris or blockages. If necessary, use scissors to carefully cut away any remaining hair or fibers.
Odor Neutralizer Cartridge Replacement
The Odor Neutralizer Technology Cartridge should be replaced periodically to ensure effective odor control. Refer to the cartridge packaging for specific replacement intervals. To replace, twist the cartridge to unlock and remove, then insert a new one and twist to lock.
