1. Product Overview

The SYNCO Xvision Video Transmission System provides stable and high-quality wireless video transmission for professional filming, live streaming, and TVC production. This system includes one transmitter (TX) and one receiver (RX), designed for real-time monitoring with ultra-low latency.

3. Device Layout and Ports

  • Power Switch: Used to turn the device On or Off.
  • Pairing Button: Initiates the pairing process between units.
  • USB-C Port (5V IN): For power supply.
  • HDMI IN (Transmitter): Connects to the video source (e.g., camera).
  • HDMI OUT (Transmitter - Loop Out): Allows for local monitoring of the input signal.
  • HDMI OUT (Receiver): Connects to display monitors. The receiver has two HDMI OUT ports.
  • Antennas: Foldable antennas for signal transmission and reception.

4. Setup and Initial Operation

4.1 Powering the Device

The SYNCO Xvision system offers flexible power options:

  • NP-F Battery: Insert a compatible NP-F battery (7.4-8.4V) into the battery slot. Press the lock button to slide the battery in or out.
  • USB-C Power: Connect a 5V 2A power source to the USB-C port.

4.2 Unfolding Antennas

Before operation, gently unfold the antennas on both the transmitter and receiver units to ensure optimal signal performance.

4.3 Power On/Off

To power on the device, slide the power switch down. To power off, slide the switch up. The device will automatically reconnect to a previously paired device upon startup.

4.4 Pairing the Units

The transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) units typically come pre-paired. If re-pairing is necessary or for pairing additional receivers:

  1. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
  2. Long press the pairing buttons on both the transmitter and receiver for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
  3. Once paired, the screen will display "Paired".

Note: A single transmitter supports up to 4 receivers (including RX and APP monitoring devices). The device will exit pairing mode if no device is found within 90 seconds. Pair receivers one at a time.

4.5 Connecting to Equipment

  1. Connect the HDMI cable from your camera or video source to the HDMI IN port on the transmitter.
  2. Connect an HDMI cable from the receiver's HDMI OUT port to your monitor's HDMI IN port.

5. Operating the System

5.1 Monitoring Display

The 1.47-inch display on both units provides real-time status information, including:

  • Transmitter (TX) / Receiver (RX) status
  • WiFi connection status
  • Connection signal strength
  • Power level
  • Resolution (e.g., 1080P)
  • Frame Rate (e.g., 60fps)
  • Bitstream (e.g., 1Mbps)

5.2 Using the SYNCO Link App

The SYNCO Link App enhances your monitoring experience with additional features:

  • Real-time monitoring on your smart device.
  • Precise image adjustments (zebra stripes, mirror, inverse colors).
  • Built-in video saving, screenshot, and playback functions.

Refer to the SYNCO Link App manual for detailed instructions on connecting and using the app.

5.3 Multi-User Monitoring

The system supports simultaneous wired and wireless transmission, enabling efficient collaboration. Real-time monitoring across multiple devices is ideal for directors, lighting designers, makeup artists, and art directors.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the units clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the devices to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Store the units in a dry, cool place when not in use.
  • Ensure all cables are properly connected and not strained.
  • Regularly check for firmware updates from the manufacturer's official website to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Ensure clear line of sight between units.
  • Charge or replace batteries.
Unit not powering on
  • Battery depleted or incorrectly inserted.
  • USB-C power issue.
  • Ensure NP-F battery is charged and correctly inserted.
  • Verify USB-C cable and power adapter are functional and providing 5V 2A.
