4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The PMP74VC megaphone can be powered by the included 12V Lithium rechargeable battery or 8 x 'C' batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment, typically at the rear of the megaphone unit.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. For 12V Lithium Battery: Insert the rechargeable battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment cover securely.
4. For 'C' Batteries: Insert 8 'C' batteries, observing the correct positive (+) and negative (-) terminals as indicated inside the compartment. Close the compartment cover securely.

It is recommended to fully charge the 12V Lithium battery before first use. The charging port is usually located near the battery compartment or on the control panel.

4.2 Attaching the Shoulder Strap

5.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control
