4. Setup and Installation
The Biuone M60 Dash Cam is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these steps for optimal setup:
- Prepare the Windshield: Clean the area on your windshield where the dash cam will be mounted. Apply the electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area and smooth out any air bubbles. Wait 30 minutes for better adhesion before installing the camera.
- Mount the Front Dash Cam: Peel off the protective film from the front camera bracket sticker and mount it onto the electrostatic film. This prevents residue on your car glass. Ensure the camera is positioned to not obstruct your driving view.
- Connect Power: Connect the GPS car charger to the Type-C port on the dash cam. Plug the other end into your car's cigarette lighter socket. The dash cam requires continuous power to operate.
- Route Power Cable: Use the included pry tool to tuck the power cable along the windshield and roof lining, hiding it in the A-pillar to keep it out of the driver's view.
- Install Rear Camera: Install the rear camera on the rear windshield or near the taillights. Run the rear camera cable along the headliner gaps, front windshield, passenger side, and rear seats to connect it to the AV-IN port on the main dash cam unit.
- Insert Memory Card: Ensure the included 64GB memory card is inserted correctly into the dash cam's memory card slot.
