Setup and Installation
The STC-9200 controller requires careful wiring. Ensure power is disconnected from the main supply before attempting any installation or wiring procedures to prevent electrical shock.
Mounting
The controller is designed for standard panel mounting. Cut an opening of 71mm x 29mm in the desired panel. Insert the controller into the opening and secure it firmly using the provided clips or fasteners.
Wiring Diagram
Refer to the diagram below for correct wiring connections. It is crucial to distinguish between relay connections, sensor connections, and power wires. Keep sensor and power wires physically separate to avoid electrical interference and ensure accurate readings.

This image displays the top view of the STC-9200 controller, highlighting the wiring diagram label. The diagram indicates connections for power (220VAC), compressor, defrost, fan, and two sensor terminals (Storage Temp Sensor and Defrosting Sensor). A note advises to strictly distinguish connections and keep sensor and power wires separate for proper distance.
Sensor Connection
Connect the temperature sensors to the designated sensor terminals (e.g., Storage Temp Sensor, Defrosting Sensor). The STC-9200 typically uses NTC type sensors. Ensure a secure and proper connection for accurate temperature monitoring.
Power Connection
Connect the 220VAC power supply to the appropriate terminals as indicated in the wiring diagram. Double-check all power connections before applying electricity.
Load Connections
Connect the compressor, defrost heater, and fan to their respective relay output terminals. Ensure that the current draw of each connected load does not exceed the relay's maximum capacity of 10A/250VAC.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Once wired correctly, apply power to the controller. The digital display will illuminate and show the current measured temperature.
Setting Temperature
To view the current temperature setpoint, press the SET button once. To adjust the setpoint, press and hold the SET button until the display flashes. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust the desired temperature. Press SET again to confirm and save the new setpoint.

This image shows the front panel of the STC-9200 controller with its red digital display showing '28.8' degrees Celsius. Below the display are the 'SET' button on the left and up/down arrow buttons on the right, used for adjusting settings.
Parameter Settings
The STC-9200 features various programmable parameters for advanced control, such as temperature differential, defrost cycle settings, and sensor calibration. Accessing and adjusting these parameters typically involves a specific key combination (e.g., holding SET for an extended period) and navigating through codes. For detailed parameter programming and their functions, please refer to the comprehensive product manual or manufacturer's documentation.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the controller's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or water directly on the unit.
- Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for looseness, corrosion, or signs of damage. Ensure all terminals are securely fastened.
- Environment: Ensure the operating environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance. Avoid exposure to excessive dust or moisture.
Troubleshooting
Display is blank or not illuminating
- Check the main power supply connections to the controller.
- Verify that the power voltage is within the specified range (220VAC ±10%).
- Inspect the power fuse, if applicable.
Incorrect temperature reading
- Check all sensor connections for proper contact and ensure they are not loose.
- Inspect the sensor cable for any physical damage or breaks.
- Verify that the sensor is placed correctly and is accurately measuring the desired environment.
Controller not switching loads (compressor, defrost, fan)
- Check the wiring connections from the controller's relay outputs to the respective loads.
- Ensure the temperature setpoint and differential settings are configured correctly for the desired operation.
- Verify that the current draw of the connected load does not exceed the relay's maximum capacity (10A).
- Confirm that the controller is in the correct operating mode (e.g., cooling or heating).
