Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury, including the following:

Control Panel
The digital control panel allows you to select cooking modes, adjust time, and start/stop the cooking process.
- Digital Display: Shows cooking time.
- +/- Buttons: Adjust cooking time.

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels from the slow cooker.
- Clean: Wash the stoneware insert and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Placement: Place the slow cooker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
- Insert Pot: Place the clean stoneware insert into the main unit.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Add ingredients to the stoneware insert.
- Place the glass lid on the stoneware insert.
- Plug the slow cooker into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
- Press the Power Button to turn the unit on.
- Press the Mode Button repeatedly to cycle through the desired cooking function (High, Low, Warm, Chicken, Meat, Soup, Braise, Beans).
- Use the + and - buttons to adjust the cooking time in 30-minute increments.
- Press the Start/Stop Button to begin cooking. The timer will start counting down.
- Once cooking is complete, the slow cooker will automatically switch to the 'Warm' setting for a period of time, or turn off depending on the selected mode.
- To stop cooking at any time, press the Start/Stop Button.
Using Delay Start
The Delay Start feature allows you to program the slow cooker to begin cooking at a later time.
- Follow steps 1-5 from Basic Operation to select your cooking function and time.
- Press the Delay Start Button. The display will show a flashing time.
- Use the + and - buttons to set the desired delay time (up to 12 hours).
- Press the Start/Stop Button to confirm the delay. The timer will count down the delay period, after which cooking will automatically begin.
Locking the Lid for Transport
To secure the lid for transport, pull the locking clips located on each side of the slow cooker up and over the lid handles until they snap into place. Ensure both clips are securely fastened before moving the appliance.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your slow cooker.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Stoneware Insert and Glass Lid: The removable stoneware insert and glass lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the slow cooker in a dry place.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your slow cooker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Appliance does not turn on:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Check if the power button has been pressed.
- Food is not cooking properly:
- Verify that the correct cooking mode (High/Low) and time have been selected.
- Ensure the lid is properly seated to retain heat and moisture.
- Avoid lifting the lid frequently, as this can extend cooking times.
- Lid does not lock securely:
- Ensure the lid is correctly positioned on the stoneware insert before engaging the locking clips.
- Check for any obstructions preventing the clips from fully engaging.
- Display shows an error code:
- Unplug the unit, wait a few minutes, and then plug it back in. If the error persists, contact customer support.
