Setup

Initial Charging of the Unit:

Once connected to a vehicle battery and plugged into an AC outlet, the Charge N Start 1120 will automatically begin its charging and maintenance cycle. The unit features exclusive auto-switch technology that intelligently maintains both the vehicle battery and its internal jump starter, switching charging between them to ensure both are always ready.

Jump Starting a Vehicle:

The Charge N Start 1120 can jump start vehicles with up to 6.5L gas engines and 3.5L diesel engines.

  1. Ensure the Charge N Start 1120's internal battery is sufficiently charged (check the 'FULL JUMP START' indicator).
  2. Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal of the vehicle.
  3. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal or a solid, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery.
  4. Ensure all connections are secure.
  5. Attempt to start the vehicle. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait a few minutes before trying again.
  6. Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp.
