1. Introduction

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup

The WESTHOD portable monitor is designed for plug-and-play convenience. Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Attach the Stand: Hold the suction cup on the monitor's back and swipe right to release the screen from its protective cover. Open the integrated stand behind the frame. Align the holes to securely install the screen onto the stand.
2. Choose Height and Angle: Adjust the screen's height and angle on the stand to your preferred viewing position. The stand allows for sliding the screen up and down and 360° rotation for flexible viewing.
3. Connect to Device:
   • USB-C Connection (Full-featured Type-C): If your laptop or device has a full-featured Type-C port (supporting both video and power), use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable. Connect one end to the monitor's Type-C port (Type-C1 or Type-C2) and the other end to your device's full-featured Type-C port. This single cable provides both display and power.
   • HDMI + USB Connection: If your device does not have a full-featured Type-C port, use the provided Mini HDMI to HDMI cable for video and a USB-A to USB-C cable for power. Connect the Mini HDMI end to the monitor and the HDMI end to your device. Then, connect the USB-C end of the power cable to the monitor's Type-C port and the USB-A end to a USB power source (e.g., laptop USB port, wall adapter).
4. Power On: The monitor will automatically power on once connected to a compatible device and receiving sufficient power.
