3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air conditioner and all accessories from the packaging.
- Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours before operation if it was not stored or transported in an upright position. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
3.2 Window Kit Installation
The included window kit is designed for installation in both vertical and horizontal sliding windows. The applicable window size range is 25.5 to 27 inches.

- Assemble the window sealing plate kit by sliding the adjustable panels together to fit your window opening. Secure them with the provided screws.
- Open the window and place the assembled window sealing plate kit into the window opening. Close the window firmly against the kit to secure it.
- Attach the hose adapter to one end of the exhaust hose.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet on the back of the air conditioner unit.
- Insert the hose adapter (with the hose attached) into the opening of the window sealing plate kit. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leakage.
3.3 Water Drain Hose Connection (for Dehumidifier Mode)
For continuous drainage in Dehumidifier mode, connect the provided drain hose to the continuous drain port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a floor drain or a suitable container, ensuring it is lower than the drain port for gravity drainage.
4. Operation
4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control
The unit can be operated using the LED control panel on top of the unit or the full-function remote control.

- ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- MODE Button: Cycles through operating modes: Cool, Heat, Fan, Dehumidify.

- Heating Mode: Select this mode to raise the room temperature. Set your desired temperature. The unit will heat until the set temperature is reached.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Use the Fan Speed button to select your preferred airflow.
- Dehumidifier Mode: Reduces humidity in the room. The fan speed is typically fixed to low in this mode. Ensure the continuous drain hose is connected for optimal performance.
4.3 Special Functions
- Timer Function: Press the TIMER button to set a delay for the unit to turn on or off. Use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the time in 1-hour increments.
- Sleep Mode: Activates a quiet operation setting. In cooling mode, the set temperature will increase by 1°F after 30 minutes, and by another 1°F after another 30 minutes, then maintain this temperature for 7 hours before returning to the original setting. In heating mode, the temperature will decrease similarly.
- Swing Function: Press the SWING button to activate the automatic oscillation of the air outlet louvers, distributing air more evenly.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.
5.1 Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Locate the air filter panel (usually on the back or side of the unit).
- Remove the filter.
- Wash the filter with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not expose to direct sunlight or high heat.
- Reinstall the dry filter into the unit.
5.2 Water Drainage
The unit has an internal water collection tank. When this tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., 'FL' or 'E4').
- Manual Drainage: When the tank is full, turn off and unplug the unit. Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port at the bottom rear of the unit. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out. Replace the plug once drained.
- Continuous Drainage: For prolonged use in high humidity or Dehumidifier mode, connect the provided drain hose to the continuous drain port. Ensure the hose is routed downwards to a suitable drain or container to allow gravity drainage. This prevents the internal tank from filling and interrupting operation.
5.3 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all water from the unit completely.
- Clean the air filter.
- Run the unit in Fan mode for a few hours to dry the internal components.
- Unplug the power cord and wrap it neatly using the cord storage design.
- Store the unit in an upright position in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.
