4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is critical for the safe and efficient operation of your inverter. Ensure the installation environment is dry, well-ventilated, and free from direct sunlight or heat sources.

4.1 Mounting

Mount the inverter on a vertical surface using appropriate mounting hardware. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the unit for airflow, especially around the cooling fans.

4.2 Wiring Connections

All wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician. Use appropriately sized cables for all connections to prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance.

  1. Battery Connection: Connect the battery bank to the DC input terminals (+ and -). Ensure correct polarity. The inverter supports 72V DC battery systems.

  3. AC Input Connection: Connect the AC grid power (110V/120V AC) to the AC IN terminals.

Important Note: This version of the inverter does not support AC charging. When the battery runs out, it supports switching to AC backup. The inverter supports AC120V input and output only. It does not support AC120V input to AC220V output, or AC220V input to AC120V output.

To protect the inverter when using AC input, the maximum AC input current should not exceed 120% of the normal input (rated power divided by AC120V). Exceeding this limit may damage the switcher or inverter.

5. Operating Instructions

Once all connections are secure, you can power on the inverter.
