- Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece. Less than a full tooth of the blade should be visible below the workpiece.
- Never hold the workpiece in your hands or across your leg when cutting. Secure the workpiece to a stable platform. It is important to support the workpiece properly to minimize body exposure, blade binding, or loss of control.

3. Setup and Assembly
3.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the 4.0 Ah Lithium-Ion battery. Connect the 2A charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The charger indicator light will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged for optimal performance.

3.2 Installing the Saw Blade
- Ensure the battery is removed from the saw before attempting to change the blade.

- Remove the outer flange and the old blade.
- Place the new blade onto the spindle, ensuring the teeth are pointing in the direction of the arrow on the saw's guard.
- Replace the outer flange and tighten the blade retaining bolt clockwise with the wrench. Do not overtighten.
- Release the spindle lock.

3.3 Attaching the Parallel Guide
For straight cuts, insert the parallel guide into the slot on the saw's base plate and secure it with the locking screw. Adjust the guide to the desired cutting width.
3.4 Connecting Dust Extraction
Attach a compatible dust extraction system or bag to the dust port on the saw. This helps maintain a clear cutting line and reduces airborne dust.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off

4.3 Adjusting Bevel Angle

4.4 Making a Cut
- Secure the workpiece firmly to prevent movement during cutting.
- Align the saw blade with the cutting line.
- Start the saw and allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.
- Guide the saw smoothly and steadily through the material. Do not force the saw.
- Once the cut is complete, release the trigger switch and allow the blade to stop completely before lifting the saw from the workpiece.
