Note: 2 AAA batteries are required and not included.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Tamagotchi device.
2. Use a small screwdriver to open the battery cover.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.

2. Initial Device Setup

1. Upon inserting batteries, the device will power on.
2. Use the buttons (A, B, C) and the Zoom dial to navigate the menu.
3. Select your preferred language (English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese).
4. Set the current date and time.
5. Name your Tamagotchi Planet.
6. Your new Tamagotchi character will then be born!

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls

• A Button (Left): Moves cursor left, confirms selection.
• B Button (Middle): Moves cursor right, cancels selection.
• C Button (Right): Selects options, enters menus.
• Zoom Dial (Side): Turns to navigate between different play levels (Tama Space, Tama Field, Tama Cell) and select options within menus. Press to activate certain functions.

Nurturing Your Tamagotchi

Your Tamagotchi character requires daily care to grow and thrive. Use the controls to interact with your pet.

• Feeding: Provide food and snacks to keep your Tamagotchi full and happy.
• Cleaning: Clean up after your Tamagotchi to maintain a healthy environment.
• Playing: Engage in various mini-games to boost your Tamagotchi's happiness and earn Gotchi points.
• Healing: If your Tamagotchi becomes sick, administer care to help it recover.

Zoom Levels and Environments

The Tamagotchi Paradise features a unique "Zoom" dial that allows you to explore different play levels and environments:

1. Tama Space: The cosmic level, offering a broad view of your Tamagotchi Planet. Here you can decorate your planet, visit Tama Stars (memories of past characters), and meet goals.
2. Tama Field: A traditional nurturing play area where you can clean up after your Tamagotchi, play with toys, and go on egg hunts. The Pink Land device starts in the Land field. You can unlock Water and Sky fields later.
3. Tama Cell: Zoom all the way in to see the internal state of your Tamagotchi, including hunger, happiness, and age. This view helps you understand your character's needs.

Lab Mode

Access the "Lab Mode" for advanced features and activities:

• Missions: Complete missions to earn rewards and progress in the game.
• Mini-Games: Play new mini-games to earn Gotchi points, which can be used in the shop.
• Shop: Purchase food, snacks, outside toys, and decoration items for your Tamagotchi and its environment.
• Tama Sitter: Hire a sitter to care for your Tamagotchi if you are busy.
• Breeding: Breed your Tamagotchi characters to create new generations with unique traits, leading to over 50,000 possible character combinations.

Connecting with Friends

Connect your Tamagotchi Paradise device with a friend's device to enhance your play experience:

• Playdate: Arrange playdates for your characters to interact.
• Gifts: Send and receive gifts between devices.
• Observe how your characters interact, whether they are a good match or not.

Character Evolution

The way you nurture your Tamagotchi character influences its growth and evolution. You can raise over 50 different characters across 12 species. Through breeding, you can combine traits from parent characters to create new generations, resulting in over 50,000 unique character possibilities.

Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and fully charged. Replace with new AAA batteries if necessary.
