Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the grill on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface outdoors. Ensure adequate clearance from combustible materials (minimum 3 feet from walls or railings). The unit requires a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  • Connect the power cord to a grounded outdoor outlet.
  • Turn the main power switch ON.
  • Select your desired cooking function using the control dial.
  • Adjust temperature and time as needed.
  • Press START/STOP to begin preheating or cooking.

Grilling

Smoking

Utilize Woodfire Technology to infuse authentic smoky flavor.

  1. Fill the Woodfire Technology pellet hopper with Ninja Woodfire Pellets (approximately ½ cup for most smokes).
  2. Select the 'SMOKER' function. Set desired temperature and time.
  3. Place food on the grill grate or crisper basket. Close the lid.
  4. The unit will ignite the pellets to produce smoke.

Outdoor Air Frying & Baking

  • For air frying, place food in the crisper basket. For baking, use an oven-safe dish on the grill grate.
  • Select 'AIR CRISP' or 'BAKE' function. Set desired temperature and time.
  • Preheat the unit, then place food inside and close the lid.

Using the Integrated Thermometer

The integrated thermometer ensures precise cooking by monitoring the internal temperature of your food.

  1. Insert the thermometer probe horizontally into the thickest part of the food, avoiding bone or gristle.
  2. Connect the probe to the port on the side of the unit.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Ninja Woodfire ProXL.

  • Grill Grate & Crisper Basket: These are nonstick. Wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak in warm water before cleaning.

  • Pellet Hopper & Ash Tray: After smoking, allow the unit to cool. Remove any remaining pellets and dispose of ash. Wipe clean. Do not wash the pellet igniter area with water.
  • Main Unit: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
