2. Safety Guidelines

To ensure safe operation and prevent injury or damage, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Weight Capacity: The porch swing is designed to support a maximum load of 1000 pounds (approximately 453 kg) for three persons. Do not exceed this weight limit.
• Assembly: Ensure all parts are correctly assembled and tightened according to the instructions. Loose components can lead to instability.
• Stable Surface: Place the swing on a flat, level, and stable surface to prevent tipping.
• Children and Pets: Supervise children and pets around the swing. Do not allow them to play unsupervised on or near the swing.

3. Package Contents

Before beginning assembly, verify that all components are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

Expected components include:

• Main frame components (legs, crossbars, swing frame)
• Canopy fabric and support rods
• Seat and backrest cushions
• Armrest pillows
• Side tables/cup holders
• Hardware pack (bolts, nuts, washers, springs, chains)
• Assembly tools (basic hex key, wrench) - Note: A personal hex key set may offer improved ergonomics.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required for this product. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly. Follow the numbered steps provided in the included assembly guide. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble the main frame structure, ensuring all bolts are finger-tight initially.
3. Attach the swing seat frame to the main frame using the provided chains and springs.
4. Install the canopy support rods and then attach the canopy fabric.
5. Secure the side tables/cup holders to the frame.
6. Place the cushions and armrest pillows onto the swing seat.
7. Once all components are in place, fully tighten all bolts and nuts using the provided tools. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating the Swing

5.1. Adjusting the Canopy

The canopy can be adjusted to provide optimal shade or removed entirely for sun exposure. The angle can be set within 45 degrees to adapt to different sunlight directions.

• Locate the adjustment knobs on either side of the canopy frame.
• Loosen the knobs, adjust the canopy to your desired angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure it.
• To remove the canopy, fully loosen the knobs and detach the canopy from its supports.

5.2. Converting to a Bed

The porch swing features a 2-in-1 design, allowing it to convert from a 3-person swing seat to a comfortable flat bed.

• To convert to a bed, gently push the backrest downwards until it lies flat.
• Ensure the locking mechanism engages to secure the backrest in the flat position.
• To return to the seated position, disengage the locking mechanism and lift the backrest until it clicks into place.

5.3. Using the Cup Holders

The swing is equipped with two foldable side trays with cup holders for convenience.

• To use, simply pull the side tray outwards until it locks into the open position.
• Place drinks, books, phones, or other small items on the tray.
• To fold away, release the locking mechanism and push the tray inwards until it is flush with the frame.

6. Care and Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

• Frame: Wipe the powder-coated steel frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent rust.
• Cushions and Canopy: The cushions and canopy are made from weather-resistant, waterproof polyester fabric. Spot clean with a mild soap solution and a soft brush or cloth. Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry completely before storage or re-use. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

6.2. Storage
