Important Safety Instructions

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
- Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.
- Do not fill above the MAX line or below the MIN line indicated inside the kettle.

Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle for any damage.
- Clean: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the kettle is not near the edge of a counter or table to prevent accidental spills.
- Connect: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
The MOUTIUS HR-462 kettle offers precise temperature control and a convenient keep-warm function.
Filling the Kettle
- Remove the kettle from its base.
- Open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill above the 'MAX' mark or below the 'MIN' mark.
- Close the lid securely and place the kettle back on its power base.

Boiling Water
- Ensure the kettle is filled with water and placed on the base.
- Press the Power Button (⏻) to turn on the kettle. The LED display will illuminate.
- The kettle will automatically begin heating to a default temperature or the last set temperature.
- The kettle features intelligent high-altitude boiling point identification, automatically adjusting to the local boiling point and stopping heating to prevent over-boiling.
Temperature Control
Use the Mode/Setting Button and the rotary knob to select your desired temperature.

- Press the Mode/Setting Button to cycle through preset temperatures or to enter manual temperature adjustment mode.
- Rotate the knob to increase or decrease the target temperature. The LED display will show the selected temperature.
- Once the desired temperature is set, the kettle will heat the water to that temperature and then automatically shut off the heating element.
- If the water is already above your set temperature (e.g., just boiled), it will cool down to your selected keep-warm temperature if the keep-warm function is active.
Keep-Warm Function
The kettle can maintain a set temperature for an extended period.
- After setting your desired temperature, press the Keep-Warm Button.
- The kettle will maintain the water temperature below 176℉ (80℃) for up to 36 hours by default. You can adjust the duration of the keep-warm function through the settings.
- To deactivate the keep-warm function, press the Keep-Warm Button again or turn off the kettle.

Pouring
The gooseneck spout is designed for controlled and precise pouring.

- Grip the ergonomic handle firmly.
- Tilt the kettle to pour water slowly and steadily through the gooseneck spout. This allows for even saturation, especially important for pour-over coffee.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your kettle.
Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the finish.
- Interior: The stainless steel interior can be cleaned by hand. For stubborn stains or mineral deposits (limescale), fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Boil the mixture, then let it sit for 30 minutes before discarding. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
- Do not immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or using again.

Storage
Store the kettle in a cool, dry place when not in use. You can wrap the power cord around the base for tidy storage.
