2. Compatibility and Important Notes

  • Vehicle Compatibility: This unit is compatible with Honda CRV models from 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
  • Original Power Amplifier: The unit is compatible with the original car power amplifier system. Ensure the original car power amplifier control cable is connected to the red ACC wire of the provided power cable.
  • Navigation System: This cable set does NOT support original cars equipped with a factory navigation (NAVI) system. If your vehicle has a factory NAVI system, additional components or modifications may be required, which are not covered by this manual.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before starting installation.
  • Verify all components listed in the packaging are present.
  • Confirm compatibility with your Honda CRV model and year (2007-2011).
  • Gather necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire strippers, electrical tape).

3.2. Wiring Connections

  1. Power Connection: Connect the main power harness to the vehicle's wiring. Ensure the red ACC wire from the stereo's power cable is connected to the original car's power amplifier control cable if your vehicle has one.
  2. Antenna Connection: Connect the radio antenna cable.
  3. GPS Antenna: Connect the GPS antenna and mount it in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., dashboard, corner of the windshield).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Functions

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button (usually a physical button or an icon on the screen) to turn the unit on or off. A short press typically mutes/unmutes audio.
  • Volume Control: Adjust volume using the physical knob (if present) or on-screen controls.
  • Touchscreen Operation: Navigate the interface by tapping, swiping, and pinching on the responsive touchscreen.

4.2. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

This unit supports wireless CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless integration with your smartphone. This allows access to navigation, calls, messages, and music directly from the stereo display.

4.3. GPS Navigation & WiFi Hotspot

4.4. Bluetooth 5.0 & FM/RDS Radio

  • Bluetooth Pairing:
    1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the stereo.
    2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
    3. Select the stereo's Bluetooth name (e.g., "Realdio Car Stereo") and confirm pairing.
  • Hands-Free Calling: Once paired, you can make and receive calls directly through the stereo using the built-in or external microphone.
  • Audio Streaming: Play music from your smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth.
  • FM/RDS Radio: Access the FM radio application. Use the on-screen controls to scan for stations, save presets, and view RDS (Radio Data System) information where available.

4.5. UI Themes and Split-Screen Functionality

  • UI Themes: Navigate to the system settings to explore and select various desktop themes to personalize the interface.
  • Split-Screen: This feature allows you to run two applications simultaneously on the screen (e.g., navigation on one side and music player on the other). To activate, typically drag an app icon to one side of the screen or use the recent apps menu.
  • Equalizer (32EQ): Access the audio settings to adjust the 32-band equalizer for customized sound output.

4.6. Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

If your vehicle supports steering wheel controls and you have connected the SWC wires during installation, you can configure them through the stereo's settings.

  1. Go to "Settings" and find the "Steering Wheel Control" or "SWC" option.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to map each button on your steering wheel to the desired function on the stereo (e.g., volume up/down, track skip, mode, answer call).

4.7. Rear View Camera

4.8. Factory Settings Keyword

Accessing advanced factory settings may require a keyword. The provided keywords are 8317 or 8888. Use these with caution as incorrect changes can affect device functionality.

5. Maintenance

  • Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touchscreen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
