1. Introduction

It features a dual-function design, allowing it to be used as a responsive yoyo for easy returns, or converted to an unresponsive yoyo for complex string tricks and finger spins. 4. Setup

4.1 Attaching the String

To attach the yoyo string, first untwist one end of the string to form a loop. Place the loop over the yoyo axle and then twist the string back to secure it. Ensure the string is not tangled around the bearing.

4.2 Switching Between Responsive and Unresponsive Modes

The MAGICYOYO V12 comes pre-installed in responsive mode. To switch to unresponsive mode, you will need to replace the responsive bearing and axle with the included unresponsive 10-ball KK bearing and 10mm axle.

1. Unscrew the two halves of the yoyo.
2. Use the bearing puller to carefully remove the pre-installed responsive bearing from the yoyo.
3. Remove the 8mm responsive axle.
4. Insert the longer 10mm unresponsive axle into one half of the yoyo.
5. Place the unresponsive 10-ball KK bearing onto the axle.
6. Screw the two yoyo halves back together, ensuring they are tightly secured.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Responsive Yoyo Mode (Beginner)

In responsive mode, the yoyo will return to your hand with a simple tug. This mode is ideal for learning basic throws and catches.

1. Wind the String: Hold the yoyo in your dominant hand with the string wound tightly around the axle.
2. The Throw: With your palm facing up, throw the yoyo downwards with a strong, smooth motion. As it reaches the end of the string, snap your wrist slightly.
3. The Return: When the yoyo reaches the end of the string and spins at the bottom, give a gentle tug upwards with your hand. The yoyo should climb back up the string and return to your hand.

5.2 Unresponsive Yoyo Mode (Advanced)

In unresponsive mode, the yoyo will not return to your hand automatically. You must perform a 'bind' trick to make it return. This mode is used for advanced string tricks.

1. The Throw: Perform a strong downward throw, similar to responsive mode. The yoyo will spin at the end of the string without returning.
2. The Bind: To make the yoyo return, you need to create friction on the bearing. There are many bind techniques, but a common one involves placing your non-throw hand's index finger into the string loop near the yoyo, then pulling the string over the yoyo's gap while simultaneously tugging your throw hand upwards. This forces the string to catch the bearing and wind up.

6.1 String Replacement
