4. Setup Guide
4.1. Battery Installation
The camera features a built-in 5000mAh rechargeable lithium battery and supports optional 4x AA batteries for extended backup power.

- The internal lithium battery is pre-installed. Ensure it is charged using the provided USB-C cable or by connecting the solar panel.

4.2. SD Card Installation

- Insert the 32GB Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

4.4. App Connection (WiFi & Bluetooth)
The camera connects to your smartphone via the "TrailCam Go" app using Bluetooth for initial connection and then WiFi for data transfer and live viewing. Note: This camera does not support connection to home WiFi routers.
- Download the "TrailCam Go" app from your smartphone's app store.
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled. Do not connect to home WiFi or other Bluetooth devices.
- Switch the camera to the "ON" position.
- Open the "TrailCam Go" app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the camera via Bluetooth.
- Once connected via Bluetooth, the app will prompt you to connect to the camera's local WiFi network. This allows for viewing, downloading, and sharing files within approximately 49 feet (15 meters) of the camera.
