1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, configuration, and operation of your KuWFi 300Mbps and 1200Mbps WiFi Bridge bundle. This bundle includes two outdoor wireless CPE devices: the CPE120 (300Mbps) and the CPE2200 (1200Mbps). These devices are designed to establish stable and long-range wireless connections for various applications, including point-to-point and point-to-multipoint network extensions.
2. Product Overview
2.1. KuWFi CPE120 (300Mbps WiFi Bridge)
The CPE120 is a 300Mbps outdoor wireless WiFi bridge designed for long-range WiFi extension, supporting distances up to 1KM. It features an LED display for configuration and supports AP (Access Point) and bridge operation modes, enabling Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multi-Point (PTMP) connections. The device is built with a waterproof, dustproof, and lightning protection design, suitable for outdoor environments. Its operating temperature range is -30℃ to 55℃, and storage temperature is -40℃ to 70℃.
2.2. KuWFi CPE2200 (1200Mbps WiFi Bridge)
The CPE2200 is a high-power outdoor Gigabit WiFi bridge. It features an ABS waterproof, dustproof, and sunscreen shell to protect against environmental damage from dust and rain. This device is adaptive to various environments, with a working temperature range of -40℃ to 55℃, making it suitable for diverse climatic conditions.

3. Setup and Installation
The KuWFi WiFi bridges support various deployment scenarios, including Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multi-Point (PTMP) connections. Proper alignment and configuration are crucial for optimal performance.
3.1. Point-to-Point (PTP) Connection
A PTP connection extends a network between two locations, such as connecting a second building to your main network or extending camera monitoring range. One device acts as the Master CPE, and the other as the Slave CPE.

Figure 3: Point-to-Point Network Extension Scenarios
Steps for PTP Setup:
- Identify one CPE as the Master and the other as the Slave.
- Connect the Master CPE to your main network (e.g., router or switch) using a POE adapter. The POE adapter provides both power and data.
- Connect the Slave CPE to the remote network device (e.g., another router, switch, or NVR for cameras) using its POE adapter.
- Configure the Master and Slave CPEs according to the device's interface (often accessible via a web browser). The LED display on the CPE120 can assist with initial configuration.
- Ensure clear line-of-sight between the Master and Slave units for optimal signal strength and stability.
3.2. Point-to-Multi-Point (PTMP) Connection
A PTMP connection allows one Master CPE to communicate with multiple Slave CPEs, often used for monitoring multiple IP cameras or extending network access to several remote locations.

Figure 4: Point-to-Multi-Point Connection for IP Cameras
Steps for PTMP Setup:
- Designate one CPE as the Master unit. This unit will connect to your central network (e.g., switch, NVR).
- Designate the remaining CPEs as Slave units. Each Slave unit will connect to a remote device (e.g., an IP camera).
- Connect the Master CPE's POE port to the power adapter, and the LAN port of the power adapter to your switch or video recorder.
- For each Slave CPE, connect its POE port to the power adapter, and the LAN port of the power adapter to the IP camera.
- Configure the Master and Slave CPEs through their web interfaces to establish the PTMP links.

Figure 5: Advanced Point-to-Multi-Point Monitoring Configurations
For WDS Point to Multi-Point connections, especially for monitoring, it is suggested to adjust the angle for better performance, typically within a 60-degree transmission angle for optimal signal reception from multiple slave units.
4. Operation
4.1. Device Interfaces and Indicators
Each KuWFi wireless bridge unit features several ports and indicators for status monitoring and connectivity.

Figure 6: Master and Slave Unit Interfaces and Connections
- LED Display: Provides status information and assists with initial configuration (CPE120).
- WAN Port: Typically used for connecting to the network source or for initial configuration.
- LAN Port: Used for connecting to local devices such as IP cameras, NVRs, or computers.
- RESET Button: Used to restore the device to factory default settings. Press and hold for approximately 5-10 seconds while the device is powered on.
- Blinking Indicator: Indicates network activity or signal strength.
4.2. Power Over Ethernet (POE)
The devices are powered via Power Over Ethernet (POE) adapters. This allows for both power and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying outdoor installations.
- Connect the CPE to the POE port of the power adapter.
- Connect your network device (router, switch, IP camera, NVR) to the LAN port of the power adapter.
5. Maintenance and Environmental Considerations
The KuWFi wireless bridges are designed for outdoor use and are built to withstand various environmental conditions.

Figure 7: Environmental Durability of KuWFi Wireless Bridges
- Weather Resistance: Both CPE120 and CPE2200 feature waterproof, dustproof, and lightning protection. The CPE2200 specifically uses an ABS shell for enhanced protection against rain and sun.
- Temperature Range:
- CPE120 Operating Temperature: -30℃ to 55℃
- CPE120 Storage Temperature: -40℃ to 70℃
- CPE2200 Working Temperature: -40℃ to 55℃
- Cleaning: Periodically inspect the devices for dirt or debris accumulation, especially on the antenna surfaces. Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KuWFi wireless bridges, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- No Power:
- Ensure the POE adapter is correctly connected to a power source and the CPE.
- Verify that the Ethernet cable from the POE adapter's POE port is securely connected to the CPE.
- No Network Connection:
- Check all Ethernet cable connections between the CPE, POE adapter, and network devices (router, switch, NVR, IP camera).
- Ensure the Master and Slave units are properly configured and aligned for clear line-of-sight.
- Verify IP address settings and network configurations on both CPEs and connected devices.
- If using PTP, ensure one unit is configured as Master and the other as Slave.
- Poor Signal Strength/Low Speed:
- Re-align the CPE units to ensure optimal line-of-sight. Obstructions can significantly degrade performance.
- Check for potential sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects).
- Ensure the distance between units does not exceed the recommended range (e.g., 1KM for CPE120, up to 5KM for CPE2200).
- Cannot Access Web Interface:
- Ensure your computer is connected to the same network segment as the CPE or directly to the CPE's LAN port (via the POE adapter).
- Verify the correct default IP address for the CPE. Refer to the product's quick start guide or manufacturer's website.
- Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer that might block access.
- Resetting to Factory Defaults: If all else fails, use the RESET button on the device to restore factory settings. This will erase all custom configurations, requiring you to set up the device again.
