2.2 Wiring Diagram (General Guidance)
Connect the wiring harness to your motorcycle's electrical system. Refer to your motorcycle's service manual for specific wiring points. The unit requires a 12V DC power source. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
- Power Input: Connect to a switched 12V DC power source.
- Ground: Connect to the motorcycle's chassis ground.
- Speed Sensor: Install the provided speed sensor and magnets according to the instructions. Ensure proper alignment for accurate readings.
- RPM Signal: Connect to the ignition coil or ECU RPM signal wire.
- Fuel Level Sensor: Connect to the motorcycle's fuel level sensor.
- Water Temperature Sensor: Connect to the motorcycle's water temperature sensor (if applicable).
2.3 Mounting
Securely mount the MT0068 unit to your motorcycle's dashboard using the provided bracket. Ensure the display is clearly visible to the rider and does not obstruct any controls.
3. Operating Instructions
The MT0068 display provides comprehensive information at a glance.

3.1 Displayed Information

Figure 5: The MT0068 supports display of Time, RPM, Speed, Water Temperature, Fuel Gauge, and Odometer.
- Speed Display: Shows current speed in km/h or mph. Range: 0-199 km/h (mile).
- RPM Range: Displays engine revolutions per minute, 0-14000 r/min.
- Odometer: Total distance traveled, 0-999999 km (mile).
- Trip Meter: Resettable distance for a single trip, up to 999.9 km (mile).
- Time: 12-hour format clock.
- Fuel Gauge: Indicates current fuel level.
- Water Temperature: Displays engine coolant temperature.
- Gear Indicator: Shows the current gear engaged.
- Indicator Lights: Turn signals, high beam, neutral, ABS, engine check, etc.
3.2 Switching Mileage Units (km/h and mph)

Figure 6: The MT0068 allows switching between kilometers per hour (km/h) and miles per hour (mph).
To switch between kilometers per hour (km/h) and miles per hour (mph), long-press the designated button (usually labeled "MODE" or similar) while in the ODO (Odometer) display mode. The unit will toggle between the two measurement systems.
3.3 Adjusting Odometer and Trip Meter
Specific instructions for adjusting the odometer and resetting the trip meter will depend on the button configuration. Typically, a short press cycles through display modes (ODO, TRIP), and a long press in TRIP mode resets the trip meter. Consult the device's physical buttons for exact functionality.
4. Maintenance
The DAWDFC MT0068 is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Wipe the display screen with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the screen or casing.
- Connections: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- Sensor: Ensure the speed sensor and magnets are clean and properly aligned for accurate readings.
- Environmental Protection: While designed to withstand harsh riding conditions, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures or direct water submersion.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display/Power off | Loose power connection, no 12V supply, blown fuse. | Check power wiring, ensure 12V DC supply, inspect motorcycle's fuse box. |
| Inaccurate speed reading | Speed sensor misalignment, faulty sensor, incorrect wheel circumference setting (if adjustable). | Verify speed sensor installation and alignment. Check sensor wiring. |
| RPM not displayed or inaccurate | Incorrect RPM signal connection, faulty signal wire. | Ensure RPM signal wire is correctly connected to ignition coil or ECU. |
| Fuel gauge not working | Loose connection to fuel sensor, faulty fuel sensor. | Check wiring to fuel level sensor. |
| Display flickering or erratic | Unstable power supply, loose connections, electrical interference. | Check all power and ground connections. Ensure stable 12V supply. |
