Important Safety Instructions

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including tape and protective films.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., stoves, furnaces, radiators). Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the rating label on the appliance.
Operating Instructions
Making Ice
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the top lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Replace Basket and Close Lid: Place the ice basket back into position and close the top lid.
- Turn On: Press the ON / OFF / CLEAN button to turn on the ice maker. The POWER indicator light will illuminate.
- Select Ice Cube Size: Press the SELECT button to choose your desired ice cube size. The S light indicates small cubes (approx. 27x20x20mm), and the L light indicates large cubes (approx. 28x22x27mm).
- Ice Production: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice cubes will be ready in approximately 6 minutes. Subsequent batches may be faster. The unit can produce up to 26 pounds of ice per day.
- Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the ICE FULL indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will automatically pause operation. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
- Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the ADD WATER indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will pause. Add more water to the reservoir to resume operation.
- Collecting Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket. The scoop conveniently attaches to the basket for storage.
- Turn Off: To turn off the ice maker, press the ON / OFF / CLEAN button.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Automatic Self-Cleaning Function
The Totnz Ice Maker features an automatic self-cleaning function to ensure your ice remains fresh and clean. It is recommended to use this function regularly, especially after extended periods of non-use or before storing the unit.
- Prepare for Cleaning: Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice cubes and the ice basket is removed.
- Add Water: Fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the MAX fill line. You may add a small amount of white vinegar or a mild descaling solution (follow product instructions) for a more thorough clean, then rinse thoroughly afterwards.
- Start Self-Clean: With the unit plugged in and water added, press and hold the ON / OFF / CLEAN button for 5 seconds. The cleaning cycle will begin, indicated by specific lights or sounds (refer to control panel for specific indicators if available).
- Cycle Completion: The self-cleaning process typically takes about 30 minutes. Once complete, the unit will stop.
- Drain Water: Unplug the unit and drain all water from the reservoir by removing the drain plug (if applicable, usually at the bottom or side).
- Rinse: Rinse the interior of the water reservoir and ice basket with clean water. Repeat the self-cleaning cycle with fresh water only to ensure all cleaning solution residue is removed.
- Dry: Wipe down all interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, clean cloth. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing or next use.
General Cleaning and Storage
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- The ice basket and scoop can be washed with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
- For long-term storage, ensure the unit is completely drained and dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
